I think this should be a good idea to open on challenge thread.

I can't imagine needing a system that complex but that's just me.

If I were going to those lengths to create an article...I'd be writing a lot more than 300 a year (less than 6 articles or posts per week). It would be a production line churning out thousands of words a day. Been there, done that

That said, I think it's a great way for new authors/content writers to see just how much work goes into a great article. Too many think putting some general unorganized thoughts down is good enough for an article - it isn't.

The system appears designed for a workplace or team contributions. If I were going to use a system like that, I'd pare it down to the high points to save time (to write more articles).

It just occurred to me that this phenomena might be responsible for a lot of the overwhelm some people feel.

They go looking for best practices, and find advice that works in a corporate/team setting but is inappropriate for a one-man (or woman) band.

It's like some of the planners on the market. You spend more time managing the planner than you do getting things done.

      Still an interesting share, Barb...

In a year I could write that many sometimes. Because my regular clients vary in the work I am given, my income from them isn't a specific figure.
I get a lot of new clients...sometimes for a single job and other times I turn them into repeat customers.

I don't set out to write 300 articles per year. I watch what work is coming in and do everything I can to make more work. By the end of the year, I generally hit my target and that has been consistent for 7 years so far.
