Hi Warrior Community,

My name is Krishna and I am staying in US from last 12 years. I have earned a lot of money and now I want to build a website that can help Indian NRI community to find anything related to Indians. I have researched a lot in this and found various online portals that really provides information about Indian NRIS.

Below are the some of the sites:

I am very Inspired by these websites and wants to create a new website with mixture of all above mentioned sites. Please help me in this issues.

I am looking for suggestions here.

    Well...

    To me it looks like you got it all figured out already.

    1. Just pick a domain name then get your hosting with Godaddy or Hostgator and install wordpress on that domain name.

    2. Take bits of pieces of info from the other sites you listed (writing things in your own words of course)

    3. Create some interesting blogs on some of the topics you think they would be looking for and post that link to your blog on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and whatever your other social profiles you might be on.

    4. Do this every day for consistency.

    Thank you for your help. I need help regarding domain choose and don't know what kind of domain I choose. Also I need developers and designers to complete this task. I am not sure from where I complete these tasks.

    Should I hire an agency or talk to an expert?

    Please guide me all issues.

      Upwork has great web designers, graphic designers and writers you'll need to set everything up. Head over there and find a few with a good amount of work hours and experience under their belts - tell them exactly what you need (re domain, hosting, design, content) and they can point you in the right direction. Hire the one(s) you like.

      i would suggest you going with good reputed agency
      there are many in India
      if you are hiring at upwork or other freelancing place
      then go with good reputed developer

    When it comes to the domain name and the set up of the website: Try not to overthink it.

    Many marketers overestimate the importance of the domain name and waste countless hours thinking about it while they could've done something beneficial for the website.

    Same goes for your website. Just start with a very clean and simple website and start producing content. At the end of the day your readers will care for the message you have to share more than the design of the buttons on your website.

    As a place to outsource the work related to your website I totally agree that upwork will most certainly be the best place to get it done ( at a reasonable price).

    The 1st shortest .COM is the best choice for you (nris .com). I think you should keep it and then mix with other site's content. You don't need to re-design or re-develop again.
