To Auto-Start or Not To Auto-Start that is the question?

Just about to throw up a video squeeze page.
Anyone got any solid testing back on whether it converts better with auto starting or when you leave it upto the users to decide?

    I'd test autostarting the video and then not autostaring but instead having a thumbnail for the video such as "Click Here To Play!" as a call to action.

    I'm sure not just me but quite a few of us would be interested in seeing the results :-)

      Ditto...

      Another combination worth testing, one that I've been seeing more and more often on the bigger portal sites, is video that starts immediately with an option to turn on the sound.
