EZA..pulling my hair out

I dont do much article marketing but I'm about to ramp it up. I am trying to post an article on EZA but keep a message saying 'It appears you are attempting to use a Meta Tag within your article. Meta Tags are not allowed.' which rather unhelpfully doesnt actually say where the problem is.

Ive gone through stripping it any single quotes, I had the odd > so I thought that was it but its still complaining, any ideas what I should be looking for???

Thanks

Gary

I would send a support note to the editorial staff. Unfortunately, it can take a week or so to hear back from them ... bueno suerte.

If you're copying and pasting from Word it can do this. There is a little box you can click for pasting from Word which should remove all the formatting and tags. It's just a little button on the toolbar where you paste your article in...a little box with a blue "W" on it...

Let me know if this doesn't work

No problem buddy! If you have a blog or get into blogging you'll run into the same thing. There is also the same little button on WordPress blogs that will allow you to paste from Word but it can get a little screwy and sometimes I have to go into the html tab and paste in there or remove formatting and stuff...

      Glad I could help!

    LOL - Good 'ole Word.

It also brings an xml sitemap file to its knees with a Word-formatted apostrophe or a hyphen.

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

      Word sucks...don't use it.

I use my AOL email program. Does spell check for me and everything and
pastes into EZA just fine. Oh, and the spell check is on the fly which makes
      it even better.

      Notepad will also work.

      Outlook will also work too.

      Just don't use Word.
