Does Clickbank allow me to do thiss??

Hi everyone,

I have a product which I want to list on Clickbank for selling. However it is a PLR product that is already as I noticed sold by some other marketer (obviously he beat me to it).

I haven't bought this guy's product but judging by the sales page it is the same product.

So my question is that Will Clickbank allow me to list my product for sale knowing it is similar product to being sold already.

If they do not allow me, I intend to change the format of the salesletter and add more content in the salesletter i.e bonuses to distinguish it from others but in essence the product is still the same.

Regards

Have you try out paydotcom? You can avoid competing with that person by using paydotcom. Also you dont have to share the potential buyers.

      Hi

Yeah but with Paydot com you have to pay affiliates by paypal, not done automatically like clickbank.

Also because I am planning to use the Butterfly marketing script, I am not sure if Paydot.com works with BFM script. Feel free to correct me if my assertions are wrong.

Just rewrite it in your own words and change the graphics. Hey presto! a brand new product.

You are telling me to rewrite the salesletter and the contents of the actual product to distinguish it from other seller who happen to have the rights for this.

Even though I am allowed to do this because holding PLR as oppose to MRR, but to be hones it will require lot of time and money to find writer and copywriter to change both elements.

I do not want to spend more money a I already have so there is teh dilemma.

Just think you would have a product with far more leverage that way. When I first did some rewriting I thought it would be difficult, but to be honest I found it quite easy.
Can't get past the graphics though, as that would involve some cash.

To answer your question smak yes you can.

I had a similar situation about a year ago when I discovered a hungry niche that I was desparate to break into. I made the rather rash decision to purchase some PLR, rather than do my own research and create my own product, only to find the very same product was listed in the clickbank marketplace.

Unperturbed I kept all the graphics, rewrote the ebook in my own words using Dragon Naturally Speaking (took about 3 hours), amended about 25-35% of the sales page with the help of my Direct Mail Swipe File (another handy tip!)and then added a few extra bonuses PLUS worksheets, mindmaps and a recorded MP3 of the ebook to add value and listed it on clickbank.

I haven't made a shedload of money but over a year later, on average, I'm making about 4 sales a month @ $47 dollars per unit. And to this day I have a higher grav, as I have since launch, than the other same product.

With PLR if you are selling the product without changing the graphics and sales page add something to it or add bonuses with it making it more unique to improve and personalize it thereby creating more value to your potential customers.

Ultimately you will always make more money by creating your own product but you can still do ok by using quality PLR - just beware though as there is a lot of crap out there!

    Hope this helps.

    Garry.

Yes clickbank allows you to list the product. There have been cases of products with MMR rights sold on clickbank too. =)

However I would advise that you follow Andy's advice to rewrite the sales letter, change the graphics. You might also want to do some slight modifications to the content of the ebook, though its not exactly necessary.

In response to your comment, you might want to change your mindset a bit. Making money listing products on clickbank is not as simple as just getting a product up there, and have ton of affiliates promoting your product. Having a successful product on clickbank is a whole different ballgame. You need to attract affiliates, drive traffic to your own webpage. More time and money will definitely be involved if you want to make money.

Or well...you might just get lucky. ; )

Yea they do but like many here have said, do your best to change the sales letter and graphics. Include bonuses if you can, do what your competition is not doing.

You are not going to get rich or rank at the top of Clickbank
with a PLR product unless you redesign the sales page, offer
unique bonuses, and make the product look original, like its yours.

It will be hard to get new affiliates if their initial reaction is that
this is a PLR product that can already be found all over the Internet.
