They're under utilised by performance marketers, but they're very effective at acquiring traffic!

For me blog comments work very well.

I do this two ways, by putting my main keyword in the search engines and simply going through the listings.

And by setting up a google alert on some of my big keywords.

Facebook comments also are good.

Surprisingly LinkedIn has worked very well for me as a traffic source.

For the best cost per click use FB ads, but use a landing page to capture the emails of visitors instead of sending them directly to sales page.

All These traffic Sources Work and Get Traffic. What You Need is To pick One traffic source, Master and know Its TECHNIQUES. If You use all These traffic sources You will Be Lost.

Just know, you have to get LOTS of traffic to make money with any website, and free traffic will take much longer than paid.

I would suggest combining a few methods together - different sources is always a good idea. The more the merrier.

It is not about traffic but about sales. What sites will get you the most sales? The ones that are best for you will depend on what niche you are trying to promote in. I do believe very strongly that what Zig Ziglar said is true, "if you help enough people achieve their dreams you can achieve yours." if you help enough people, it doesn't matter where they come from. Pinterest, Tumblr, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Stumbleupon, Instagram

I firmly believe in traffic sources that can bring me traffic months after I work on it. Paid traffic is great to get early traction, and traction thereafter, but you can't build a brand with it.

Once the click comes through, you won't get anything else out of it. If you're smart, you'd have sent those clicks to a landing page rather than a sales page, so you can later build a relationship with those leads.

If you're not yet confident about paid traffic, focus on traction channels that will bring you results for months/years. I see that you've chosen some good ones already.

I'd add a company/product blog to that (I'm assuming you're selling a product). Build up your content over the next few months or years, and you'll see significant results as your rankings, shares and credibility increases.

YouTube is great though, and so is any social media platform that suits your niche/product.

I'd also look into well-trafficked communities in your niche. For internet marketing, that would be the warrior forum.

Again, if you're selling products, definitely look into affiliates. They're the biggest source of traffic and sales for huge companies like Hosgator and Aweber, so why not you?

The best thing to do is to start with just one traffic generation method. Get really good at it before moving to another.

It really depends on what you are promoting. If you are promoting CPA offers i would recommend rtxplatform.com (50onRed). You must know about tracking and be able to optimize your campaigns.

Facebook has made me the most money.... then #2 is native ads like revcontent.com then adwords if you have a good funnel that has a lot of good value.

Each traffic source is going to have different quality based on what you're trying to achieve. You can never beat search intent...so AdWords or Organic. The rest is cheaper, but yields less intent and won't be as quality no matter what way you spin it.

Instagram is a great source of traffic for CPA traffic

Make sure you target the right tags though

The best traffic sources is SOLO ads to get quick results ( of course not cheap ones ).

Youtube is very simple, fast and its free. Nice thing about Youtube is you create it once and it just runs and runs for you. Great way to build a list and generate some adsense revenue!

The best traffic comes from a targeted, niche blog/site of your own, scoring well in Search engines!
But getting listed up there is the problem and staying there i should add.
Being on page 3 means nothing sadly.

Solo Ads work fine, but...
If you promote scam offers like "get paid for doing surveys", it's impossible to build a brand and establish yourself as an authority.
If you promote some reliable services like web hosting or healthy living tips, either traffic source will work fine.

Already you are using the best way. You should increase the targeted traffic in both Free & Paid way. There are many other social and image sharing sites as well, such as flickr, pinterest, stumbleupon, reddit, linkedin etc. that you can try marketing and getting traffic from.
