Hey Folks, It seemed like ONLY yesterday I could search something at Google and see articles and sites that would pull up on the main page. Now I see ONLY Adwords ads on the right until I scroll way down then I start seeing the other links on the main page. There seems to be a big void of blank white page until I scroll way down on my screen to see the content. Is there a setting issue that is out of whack on my computer or has Google lost its mind and ONLY want you to see its Adwords right away first? I am using that new IE8 browser now so I don't know if that has something to do with it. Please let me know if you have any feedback on this. Thanks! |

That sounds bettter. I will see what I can do and also get to another computer to check. I just thought Google may have launched a new beta and was testing something new. PHEW! Cheers! |

My best guess is that you caught them playing with a new template for IE8 and something didn't mesh with your settings. When you see something like you describe, it's usually a result of stacking page sections where the two sections (adwords ads and serps) together are wider than you have room for. So the first section shows and the second 'wraps' to the next level. It's kind of like the word-wrap feature in a text processor. |

I've noticed this happen before with a bad connection. If the broadband connection dips or you've got too much going at once, I've noticed where page structure for some sites including Google can sometimes fall apart but refreshing easily fixes it. |
