Default My first Shared Profit Agreement

Has anyone had any experience with 'shared profit agreement?

I would be grateful if you could give me some guidance on this.

I have just won my first shared profit agreement where the client pays me a fee each month and a 5% share of the gross profit at the end of the financial year. The shared profit is based on helping them to increase their profit over and above what they are already getting, using SEO and search engine marketing.

What I would like to know is: what's the best way to monitor and track the revenue they get from my SEO and SEM efforts? I know they can pull a fast one and say they did not make as much sales from the net as they expected.

They are not directly selling from the net. They want to get more visitors to the site and to get more of those visitors to contact them requesting more info etc. How am I going to know how much of the revenue came from these visitors?

Your thoughts will be most welcome.

I need some idea so I can get the information into the "Shared profit Agreement Contract"

Much Thanks in advance
