So what do you get out of twitter?
What's the point with twitter? You have 1000 followers, and? What do you do with them? Let's say you're selling a product, even if your conversion rate is 1:200, so what, five sales, big deal. But how much time did you invest to get so many followers? I can't see people actually having a real benefit from hanging out on twitter and hunting down followers...
Let's say you have a bunch of followers, but these people are not following JUST you, they're following 1000 people, so when you post something, what's the chance of them clicking on that link? Okay, there's the retweet thing, that might be fine, maybe someone retweets your stuff and it becomes a huge turnade circling around the internet - what are the chances of that happening? What did you get out of twitter so far, and is it worth it to invest time into it - or would it be smarter to work on other ways to get more traffic, or whatever your goal is with twitter (to keep in touch with people, or potential customers) - isn't it better to use a newsletter for that.
Thanks for answering,
Jack
