How to lengthen my wordpress blog's main area??

Hi guys, I was wondering , how I can lengthen the main page of my blog theme??

I mean, I'm not a programmer or anything, although I am very good with wordpress, so any programmers here, can you please tell me how to lengthen the main area of my blog?

It's for a sales page that I'm doing and the sales page just does NOT look good in that condensed area of wordpress, ya'll know what I'm sayin'?

Try Settings > Reading. This allows you to increase the number of posts on a page, which is what I think you mean. If you mean extending the length of one post, you should change the continue link or eliminate it.

If you go into theme editor you can usually find all of the "content" sizes in your "style.php"

Hi guys, I actually meant to make the page itself longer....Like as in taking the theme and stretching it all across for it to seem more longer across the page, ya know what i'm sayin?

Try tweaking the css of the theme to your liking.

This is a nice add-on for Firefox so you can make live edits to see what you like before you go and actually tweak the stylesheet.
