Places to find freelance work (... for arbitrage)

Hey, what's up warriors.

I just recently got into arbitrage and managed to get a few gigs through craigslist (creating logos for small businesses). However, I don't really get many people interested in my services (probably due to the general unprofessionalism of craigslist.) Certainly not enough to make any REAL money. By the way, I use Fiverr to outsource the work.

For those of you who are experienced with arbitrage (or "brokering" as I've heard it called before), where have you manage to find consistent customers? I'm aware of Upwork and, of course, Craigslist, but I was just wondering if anyone was having success elsewhere.

Hopefully, we can create a thread with a bunch of major places to find gigs for those interested in this "field of work" (because I didn't find much in my search).

P.S. I'm talking about finding digital services such as logo creation, writing, programming, video creation, etc. Pretty much anything that can be sent via email.

    Its not only about Craigslist not being super professional, its also about the fact that everyone does this. In the internet age simple arbitrage is something that everyone can do and therefore finding clients is and will always be the hardest thing (see all the "businesses" that are desperately looking for leads).

    To answer your question: yes, Freelancer and Upwork are two good platforms, more competition than you can count but due to their size almost anyone can get a job here and there. You can also try forums dedicated to different topics, for example design or media. The important thing is to be persistent. I did arbitrage freelancing as well some time and made a little bit with it. Right now I'm into freelancing again (aside my main business), but I work myself.

    The hardest part to overcome your missing testimonials, portfolio and reputation. It takes quite a while until you have decent conversion rates on Upwork for example. Be ready to do some "not so awesome work" until you have at least a decent reputation.

    Oh and another thing: don't just copy and paste application letters to your clients, they smell them from 10 miles away. If you apply for 20 Upwork jobs a day doing pure copy and paste about how much experience you have, your chance of landing a job is practically zero.

    there are quite a few freelance sites out there. If you want to use these sellers for arbitrage just remember all the customers are yours and not the freelancers. So you have to vet your stable of providers on your own. That means you are going to have to buy what you sell and you might have to buy quite a bit to find freelancers that meet your standards.

    Unless you do not really care about quality, then you can just go to fiverr
