need some advice on my website which is currently not monetized

wasn't sure where else to ask - I thought about giving up but figure i'll ask here I lurk a bit lately.
I have a blog I started on my own domain 2 years ago and for the first few months I put nothing on there, maybe one or two posts... then after 3 months I decided I'd put one article a week hand written by me, maybe some photos or two, but all original content.
then I started putting a few up a week. I seen my traffic all of a sudden boost in the past few months from nothing to 2000 uniques a day right now and its doubling every month or two for at least the past maybe 4 months or 5 months... i have had to change server I was originally on a shitty shared host and it was hitting CPU 100% and IO 100%... so now im on a new host and its hitting the limits on this one too at times.
now i'm at like 40,000 uniques a month and something like 200,000 page views ... the site is completely unmonetized... and I don't know how to go about trying. I have a few posts on my niche in certain countries and have a few affiliate links in the text and have made like 500 USD in 3 months off that alone, I used to have popup and popunder on the site.... but i removed that because I hate that shit and everyone should hate them. I was only bringing in like 10 USD a month for pissing off anyone that came to my site.
so now with this huge increase in traffic, i'd like to at least get a decent server and maybe have the traffic help offset some cost of paying for something decent.... my site is not porn, but lets just say its a mature niche and I cant run amazon affiliate or google adsense its not allowed, theres no nudity, but like i said its mature themed... if that makes sense.
tl;dr have adult non-porn site, no ads. cant get adsense, cant get amazon... making zero dollars, getting reasonable? traffic.
someone said to check SEMRush and it shows I have 1500 keywords in google top 10 and hundreds of them are ranking me on google as number 1 for the keyword search. its all organic and says zero paid traffic. semrush says my google CPC value is currently 550 USD all up. I have many key words that CPC is 2-3 dollars and all ranked one in google worldwide for my niche and it says apparently its 70% - 80% difficulty to get this keyword to rank.. or something, i dunno... i dont do seo haha
ive never done any SEO beyond ticking the stuff in 'create a new post' that makes all my green lights light up in wordpress (I think its part of Yoast?)
thats a long post. Just looking for advice what to do. If I can't do anything maybe it's best to let the site die off. i'm not sure at all. I thought about trying to sell it on flippa, but a site making 0 dollars a month... well, its worth nothing?
