Yes, in all likelihood your comments are being marked as spam, and chances are they should be!

You gotta try to remember that the comments sections weren't created so opportunistic traffic / link hunters could go in, throw in a quick vaguely related one-liner and then run off.

They were created with the aim of creating engagement, conversations, and to build a community for the website owner.

While I don't expect you to answer in a public forum.. are you qualified in any way to comment on anxiety? And I include in this whether you personally suffer from anxiety or know someone who does?

If so, then maybe you have a genuine reason to be there, and can be a valuable member of the community that whoever built the website is trying to create.

If not, then what you're doing is spam and the filters are getting better and better at making sure your efforts are going to waste.. because you're not creating any value, either for the owner of the website, or for his/her visitors.

Also, as an aside, to win at spamming (of any kind) you need to use strategies that are considerably more sophisticated than those you're currently using. The days of manual spamming being profitable are long gone, and they're never coming back. People who actually make money via spamming are generally using very clever techniques that require just as much study and time as building a regular business!

If you can't afford to pay for traffic, then my advice is to pick one well travelled website or forum, and actually become a valued member of their community. Learn about the topic so your comments are interesting and of value. Over time you'll start to get traffic, and it'll be better quality traffic as the people who click will be genuinely interested in what you have to offer.

Why? Because you've provided them with value!

That's my two cents anyway.. best of luck with it, and I hope you figure out a better way to get traffic that doesn't involve spamming. Better for everybody.

Everyone else also gets just one crack at it - help make theirs awesome too... or, politely step out of their way.

You can use Google Alerts to find sites to make comments on. Set it up and put in relevant KYs to your Niche and everyday you will get a slew of related Sites to your Niche.

      This can be very effective.

Like others have said , you really need to treat your comments as total value laden diatribe. The first couple of comments I would not even put a link back. Just to build rapport with site owner

Comment Should be About Post Not use for promotion and use minimum 20 words in the comment otherwise your content not approved by blogger.

I take the time to read the blog post that I want to comment on,

And then try and find one or if I am lucky two points that I can expand upon.

I know this process takes me a long time, as, some of my comments take me a while to write.

But, the flip side of this is that, a lot of them stick--and bring me traffic.

Also, one of the keys for successful blog commenting--at least in my opinion--is to have at least some knowledge of the topic you are trying to comment about--and if you have first hand experience--even better.

    Hope this Helps.

There is a place called dropmylink dotcom and they can help you find blogs related to any niche. There is software and you can set up Google alerts to tell you about keywords. So if a blog has your keyword in it and there is activity, it will tell you. I think commenting is a solid way to get trickles of traffic, but it must be a helpful/useful comment.

Blog commenting is like local branding. You can build your brand within a particular blog.

Let's say, you are in an axiety niche. I believe, there are 10 most popular blogs in this niche.
If you add valuable comments on a regular basis, your nickname gets famous. People are gonig to click it even if you don't add links to your messages.

Look, here, on WarriorForum there are tons of new arriving members, how have links in signature. How do you think, do they get a lot of traffic? I believe ,they don't.

It requires time to get noticed.

One visitor per hour does not sound like a worthwhile endeavor, better to go get a part time job and pay for advertising.

Your 2 hours a day might be better for learning SEO or social media marketing.

I do blog commenting myself in order to get comments on my Blog in return, it works, but my intentions are more for content creation on my own website rather than direct visitors. I have found some blog owners that will visit and comment on my blog each time I do the same for them... it works out well.

    Hi,
Here's a tip for you. In order to look for blogs in your niche, type in Google "blog:target keyword" without the "" quotation marks.

For example, you can type in "blogs:anxiety". Blogs in the related niche will be listed there.

As for the commenting tips, here's it: The more you want to promote/sell, the less you will get. Instead, the more you HELP/CONTRIBUTE, the more you get in return.

Don't always put a link back to your site. If you put the link in the "website" bar in the comment section, it's still fine. But don't put any links in your comment itself. Your comment will automatically be spam.

It takes time. This is not something you can see results immediately or very fast. You need to constantly HELP people in your niche, not just commenting on related blogs. You can join related forums, facebook groups, etc and ENGAGE with others.

The most common killer is your own EXPECTATION. Don't expect too much for the result. Instead, focus on how well you can contribute, how much value you can offer to others.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions

    Cheers,
    Jerry

    Update:
It's much better to focus on organic rankings of your website. It will have a much greater result in the long term!

No offense intended, as I imagine English isn't you mother tongue, but if your comments are spelled as poorly as your post, it's no wonder that your comments are not getting through the filters.

Doing one-time, run and gun comments on as many blogs and other sites as you can screams "link spammer", and adding links to poorly constructed and spelled comments gets the filters screaming.

(Here's a tip. Turn on automatic spell checking, and be mindful of the little red squiggles under misspelled words. Hover over the word and right click, and you'll get suggestions for correcting the spelling.)

As Alex July mentioned in his/her post, blog commenting is closer to forum marketing than link building. Find several blogs and make comments that add to or continue the conversation. They don't have to be the top ten, but they do have to be active and show an engaged audience.

Be consistent, and you'll build a good rep. Keep doing the 24-hour run and gun, and you'll also build a rep - but it won't be a good one.

Also keep in mind that your targeted prospects usually will search you by name before proceeding further. If all that turns up is a bunch of short comments on blogs, they most likely will not seriously consider visiting your website, or later even buying from you.

What I have found to be extremely effective is to use blog commenting as supplemental to a much wider marketing presence such as social media and feature articles syndicated in relevant online publications such as newsletters, ezines, websites, etc.

Whatever you do online you should always aim to provide value. If you're just commenting and not providing any value, then your comments will just be marked as spam.

A lot of people struggle with understanding this concept. Focus on giving value first and you'll get anything you want and more. This simple truth has helped me to make more money online.

The next time you comment on anything take the time to read the post and really add value to the conversation. Always be thinking about them and forget about you.

My comments box has 1309 copies of:

"I must say you have very interesting articles here.
Your blog can go viral. You need initial boost only.
How to get it? Search for; ......."

So I think this is how people comment these days, and it is likely that your helpful comments go to trash with others if that website has lots of spammy comments. it is very hard to notice good ones.

I do not post comments for years and use that time to search for long tail phrases.

    Hi Spartan,

It seems like you are finding good, niche-specific blogs to comment on. Good deal

Now you can intend to comment mainly to build friendships, versus trying to get traffic. Because when you post a comment to establish a relationship with fellow bloggers from your niche those friendships can take you really far in your blogging career.

Comment to add value to the post. Comment to make friends with fellow bloggers. The traffic will come if you comment mainly to spread love versus trying to get traffic or links.

This is one of my talent especials online - blog commenting - as I even wrote an 83 page eBook devoted to the topic.

Some practical tips to blog comment effectively:

    * address bloggers by their first name in your comment
    * thank the blogger for sharing their wisdom
    * write a 3-5 paragraph, thorough, thoughtful comment, to make an impact....think mini guest post
    * specifically mention 1 point made in the post to show you read the post
    * be persistent; comment on the same blogs at least once weekly to be a familiar face to both bloggers and their audiences
    * comment primarily to show love, or, to give.....the getting will happen really easily when you give freely and have fun
    * see blog commenting more as a bond-building technique and less as a traffic builder
    * respond to all comments on your blog to build bonds with your readers

    Happy Commenting

    Hi Spartan,

Blog commenting is not just about agreeing and saying yes to whatever the blogger is posting.

But giving additional constructive information on why you agree or even disagree with what the blogger posted.

Let me give you a very simple example.

Suppose the blogger - her name is Grace Seah - is writing a post about Job interview Tips For Graduates To Get Hired.

In his post, he says that in order to get the job, you need to dress well, have relevant qualifications, speak well and make a positive impression on the boss or whoever is interviewing you.

But you can disagree with him not in a rude but in a more polite and yet constructive manner by commenting.

    Hi Grace,

    Thank you for your information.

But I don't totally agree with your view.

And the reason I don't agree is because based on the feedback I got from my friends who are graduates or out of previous employment still looking for a job, that is not the case.

Though dressing well, speaking well and having qualifications seem to be essential, they are NOT really what bosses want.

What bosses really want - which they also conveyed to their HR personal - is based on your qualifications, what can you do for the company?

How can you contribute to the company to make it better and for us to continue hiring you permanently?

Now those are the questions most graduates have no answer or unable to answer properly.

They keep talking about their qualifications, strengths and weaknesses which are more from their perspective and have nothing to do with what they can for the company.

If I am looking for a job as well, I will first do research on the company and job I am applying for FIRST.

Before even showing up at the interview.

And come interview, I will still dress up well with qualifications. But I will ask them questions on what I like to know about the company and my job scope before giving them assurance on what I can deliver based on my qualifications.

If the blog is about Weight Loss, you can also say something like:

    Hi Jimmy,

While I understand that regular exercise is essential to lose weight, having a well-balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and going for regular check-ups are just as essential.

Most people only do 1 or not doing any at all despite knowing the importance of staying fit and healthy.

They keep looking for the next solution or supplement but ended up hopping around and not being consistent at all.

Or forgetting about the basics on how to be and stay fit and healthy.

    Same for internet marketing:

    Hey Stanley,

I agree with your point of view.

But I feel the most important for anyone wanting to succeed online is not just about having the right mindset but learning from someone who has ACTUALLY succeeded and willing to teach him or her what he has accomplished.

This is not just my opinion but my friend as well who now made over $30K after struggling for past 3 years.

Hope these examples will give you a better and clearer picture of what I am saying.
