Targeting Entrepreneurs ? Can this work ?

Hey My Name is Giovani and I have been wanting to start an online business for the past 2 years now. and just now started taking it serious. I have a business idea and wanted to run it by you guys to see if this can be a profitable business model

Before I reveal this Idea/Biz model I first want to tell you how I first got this idea..

So lately I have been soooo confused about which niche to hop into. I spoke to a IM buddy who makes a killing in information product launches and affiliate marketing and well I would like to do the same thing. I asked him If i should get into the make money online niche or stay away from it ?
He said to go for the make money online niche because its in demand and has alot of affiliate programs I can promote. I mean it makes sence. So i started to do some research.

I quickly noticed I was going to need some big bucks to really make some profit.
In the past I studied Local Seo and for some reason I thought

"WHAT IF I CAN MAKE A MAKE MONEY ONLINE/ BIZZ OPP Site for a Local City"

FOR EXAMPLE >> ill pick an online business model such as ARTICLE WRITING and how to profit from selling article writing services.
Then I can pick a city such as Dallas Texas.

Creat a site like DallasMoneyMakersDOTcom or like DallasTxWealthBuildersDOTcom

On the site will be a opt in saying something along the lines of Want to learn how to make a passive income in Dallas Texas ? have a free report and then later on in email sale my training and affiliate products.

I plan on making a facebook page to promote the website to the local residents

In my city there isnt a big audience for internet marketing.
So i decided to Target Entrepreneurs and people who take surveys online for money.
But the thing is only about 10k-15k people interested entrepreneurship

Do you think this can be a profitable business ? Your response would be freaking awesome.

    My quick take is that your plan reminds me a lot of the plague of fake news sites that used geo-targeting to insert a city name in a fake news site plugging some weight loss scam. That irritating rash almost killed the .info domain extension, as it became almost synonymous with "spam site".

    If I opted in for information on how to make money in a specific city, and all I got was a bunch of generic MMO affiliate pitches, I'd feel misled and lied to. Basic "bait and switch", much like the "get rich in real estate" seminars, where the big secret is buying an expensive course.

    Now, if you actually had some info on running a local business, you might make this work.

    Like I said, this is based on the content of your post and my initial reaction.

    Isnt better to target by INTEREST?

    I mean digital marketing. men. 40 to 67.

    With facebook ads only in the newsfeed (not instagram or right column).

    I think it will be more effective

    I target local entrepreneurs because I run a VC startup accelerator.

    Launch a meetup group. Get people to the meetup group. Turn them into raving lunatic fans of your program. Then use them as advocates to amplify your message.

    What is your product/value proposition? Why can't you make a ton of money off 10-15K potential customers? Is your value proposition too light weight and inexpensive to be a longer-term model for localization?

    Sounds like you're venturing into the marketplace without a solid game plan.

    Now is the time to get in. Making money and business is all in two words. Supply & Demand. Figure that out and how to present your product and service and you will not have to answer to a boss or signing in before work...

    I think it will take you much time to write high quality content in order to get more attractive and get reputation on your website, especially in MMO business, you will need an real evidence to get leads or selling something related to your affiliate campaigns. IMO
