Where can I find the easiest to follow step by step blueprint for promoting affiliate links?

I am trying to piece together the exact steps to take to building a list and making affiliate commissions.

I am struggling to define each step and hope someone can add some insight!

This is where I am at:

1. Select a niche
2. Find a good affiliate offer for that niche
3. Purchase a domain and hosting related to that offer.
4. Create an email address from the domain purchased.
5. Create a free account on mailchimp.
6. Crete a free product (pdf) to give away.
7. Create a landing page that offers the free gift in exchange for their email addresses.
8. Create an email campaign to nurture any leads from the landing page.
9. Redirect subscribers to my affiliate link after downloading free gift.

Is this right?

Am I missing a lot of working parts?

How can I simplify the process?

My skills:

Video Editor, Website Builder, Graphic Designer.

With my skills I should be able to create the landing page, and rig up all the other parts.

Then, drive free traffic to begin with...

Will this work?

I want to set this up today/this week if possible, then if it works, rinse and repeat!

Thanks

Mike

Create some Follow Ups with Mail Chimp. Ones that are engaging and will build rapport and trust with your audience.

And then you can start offering paid products that can further help them.

But you must build some Authority and let them know your expertise in those initial emails

You are on the right track.

As discrat said, create some follow up emails.

    Now comes the hard part,

Sticking to working on this--for the long haul, and not giving up a week or two in, becasue you have not made a ton of sales.

I say this because, this is what would happen to me, when I first started out online.

I would get all ready and then a week or two in--when I was not rich--you know--I would move on to the next big thing.

You can find thousands and thousands of them. Key is to find something from somebody who is doing it and do what they do! 95% of affiliates do not make any money at all because they do not do what successful marketers because you need to step out of your comfort level to learn new skills. Its much easier to simply copy and past a link someplace. Really do not need to think to do that....

Use youtube and or google. when using google put this into the search bar without the quotes.

The more crucial thing will be the traffic. The next thing you should focus (personally)
is type of traffic. There are SEO, Fb ads, Bing ad, Google adsense, Solo Ads and etc.

Yes this is the most important part. Sure you need a good converting sales funnel but without traffic your success will be 'dead' in the water.

Things aren't always black and white / cut and dry like we hope they will be. The plan above can work and be modified a little. One of the steps that I don't see above is...Getting Started and Staying Started (commitment, consistency and determination).

Just out of curiosity, have you set up your funnel yet OP?

I suggest using leadpages or instabuilder or Optimizepress to fasten you salespages design. If you are into blogging to promote affiliate offers, yes, building a website is the way. Good luck.

What you wrote is a 100% correct. What you need is a highly converting autoresponder series.

About 7 follow up emails will boost conversions if well written.

That should not however stop you. Start where you are!

    Mike, be careful.

I too was considering using MailChimp because it's free. However, when I looked into it, I discover that it's a bit fishy using affiliate links with them.

Here's an article that talks about it:
    https://cybercashworldwide.com/mailc...iate-marketing

    Main important point from article:
"I had several communications with the Team and they responded very quickly to me, very helpful. But their answers weren't straightforward. They suggested that; The entire purpose of your email campaign cannot be to send affiliate links."

In the end, I decided to use a different email autoresponder because I didn't want to take the risk.

Just thought I'd make you aware.

You seem to be on the right part from what you've mentioned in your post. The important thing is to take action and be consistent with it cause results might not come immediately but when you keep at it you'll be glad you did.

    All the best

    What this guy said.

    Go with GetResponse or Aweber.
