What is your typical daily schedule?

I'm wondering how warriors schedule their day...

Will you post a typical daily schedule if you have one?

Will you also let us know if you have a j-o-b or if you are a full-time IMer?

Here is my typical schedule:

6:10 a.m. -6:30 a.m. Check email
6:30 a.m. -7:00 a.m. Get son ready for daycare - myself ready for j-o-b
7:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. At work
4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Time with family - dinner
7:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m. On the computer - checking stats - coming up with new ideas - reading the warrior forum - etc.

After my coaching session with Brad today I will have a plan of how to better spend my 7-11 p.m. hours to be more effecient.

What is your typical schedule?

I like to get up early and start work early when my brain is at its least uncluttered. I don't have a schedule as in doing certain things at certain times each day.

However every week I like to do the following without fail:

Place ads in proven sources and ongoing learning and training on ad and sales copy - because I want to learn what it takes to have double-figure conversion.

Direct promotion to my own list of customers and subscribers.

Adding content to my ongoing sales channels i.e. submitting new articles to directories, adding new and fresh copy to my autoresponder sequence, etc.

Researching potential demand and content for future product creation.

    Backlinking campaigns.

As you are a mother and hold down a full-time job it's a great idea to have an hourly timetable for each day. Mind you that's a long day you have though Paula you must get tired sometimes?

      I get EXHAUSTED! lol

In fact after not sleeping in for about six months... I finally decided to take a day off from my full-time job so I could stay home and get some sleep while my son was at daycare.

However, I slept one hour and the computer started calling my name.

I just need to have a better plan of WHAT to do while I'm on the computer so I can give up the j-o-b after this year.

Thanks for your list of what you do each day... gives me some ideas.

Well I no longer have a J-O-B. Thank the lord for small miracles. I still keep a schedule. I normally get up about 6:30 and then check email and follow up with anything pressing. Then I eat breakfest and start working about 8AM. I will work until I get tired and unless I have an offsite meeting I take a nap. Then I spend time with the family until about 9PM and then I'll work for a few more hours before going to sleep.

When I had the job. I still checked email in the morning, but only had time to work on my business in the evening. At times I would get fired up and work most of the night.

The one thing I have learned is no matter what the hours are, set yourself up a task list of things which must be completed every day. That way no matter how much time you spend you have something you know you need to accomplish. This keeps you moving in the right direction.

Before I started keeping a task list, a lot of times I would get distracted and spend time on forums or somewhere else which was not helping me reach my goals.

Good luck with quitting that job, it will be the best feeling in the world when you finally get there. Its a little scary at first but as long as you have a plan and a little money in the bank before you jump, you should get over that soon.

      Thanks, Bruce!

Right now I am the "get distracted and spend time on forums" point.

Tonight I have a coaching call to set up a plan. I really am excited to have a "task list" to help me reach my goal faster.

Good point Bruce--everyone should follow it.

I use Google Calendar to block out time for big tasks and use the built in things-to-do list to keep track of individual things I need to do in a day. It works for me.

  • Most days I get up around 5 am, walk, do some personal development time then get to work around 8am.

My daily schedule varies--I plan my week each Sunday evening based on my goals for that week. I try to do any creative work in the mornings and do people oriented work in the afternoons.

Most days I quit at 4pm.

    I work parttime still, 3 days a week at a j-o-b.

I like to get in one article and one Squidoo lens a day, distribute it and backlink it. Somedays I can get 2 in (when I am not at my j-o-b)..

About every 3 days I also email my list. I have set up my autoresponder with messages for each product, but about every 3 days I do a broadcast to my whole list, with a new promotion usually, or new content.

Lately this has been pretty much what I do, and I am in front of my computer most of my working non-j-o-b hours.

  • I tend to start my daily shift (full time IM'er here) rather late once one or two morning coffees have kicked in, at around 10 am. I really need to get started much earlier because very often I am already WAY behind schedule by lunch time, meaning that then I gotta be glued to the computer til dinner time!

That's my goal for the following months actually: to better manage my working time!

I wake up around 7-8am, depends on my darling 2 year old. By the time we have breakfast, clean up, etc. Its 10am, while my daughter watches Barney and Sid the Science kid, I have an hour to get some preliminary work done, emails, facebook, forums, etc. Then I work with my daughter with our home preschool curriculum this lasts about 2 hours, then its nap time for her and my time to get back on the computer. She naps till 4pm, that gives me about 2 hours or so to work online, then I have to get dinner ready. If my husband is busy with TV or something else I work online, other wise I sit with the family. I don't have a lot of time online, but I do a lot of thinking with my journal.

FULL TIME Marketer.. Im up at 8, I spent alot of time with my family and 2 year old daughter. We hang out go to the park, the pool and just plain kick back.I work for maybe an hour in the morning checking emails and such. If you want to be successful get a good cell phone with email. Iphone or Blackberry are both good,.This cuts down on time I have to spend online.I have a couple businesses that are mostly autopliot. I spend a few hours online just checking stats and such and laughing my ass off. This is the best job ever!.I actually spent more time on PS3 Online.Good luck

I don't have a set schedule, but everyday seems to be some-what similar to the next if you just to compare it.

I get up every morning around 7:30 because that's when my toddler wakes me up.

First I brush teeth and bathe.

    Second I eat and cleanup.

Third I jump on the internet and check to see if I have some earnings in my accounts.

Fourth I Start posting ads and articles on various sites.

By this time it might be around 1:00 pm, which is the time my soap operas come on, and goes off at 4pm.

Of course this isn't all I do everyday. I left out many details, considering the fact that I have an almost 19 month old daughter to attend to.

The rest of the day varies. I also spend a lot of time doing activities with my family between 4pm and 8pm.

My husband works outside the home, I make all of my money from IM.
