You have a range of options for taking payment, Clickbank, Paypal, 2Checkout.com, etc...

The advantage of Clickbank is that they manage your returns, affiliate program (should you wish to offer one) and lists you in the Clickbank Marketplace where a body of affiliates can find and promote your products for you.

Clickbank has several advantages when it comes to getting joint venture partners and affiliates over many other options. It also eliminates the need for you to find your own payment processor.

also realize that clickbank will not be doing your promotion for you. When you start out your ebook will be at the bottom of the rankings and rarely viewed by the affiliate marketers.

If you want a good team of affiliates promoting your book, you should actively promote your product to affiliates. Seek them out, because they wont' be finding you for a long time otherwise.

Using Clickbank is kind of hard when you are getting started and don't have alot of money, but it is money well invested. Clickbank manages your affiliate program for you which is hugh when getting started. Plus you will find alot more affiliates their ready to promote your digital products.
