Aiming High Can Make You Rich
When I was at school my headmaster always used to tell us to aim high. At that time, it just flew over my head, maybe because I was young and immature or whatever but now when I think about it, what he used to say actually works.
Hearing all sorts of success stories (when I started internet marketing) like $1,000 a day, $100,000 a month and 1 million in 6 months etc at first got me skeptical but as I started learning more and more I realised that these earnings are not only possible but some top IMers are actually earning that much.
What this did was give me a huge boost and made me 10x more ambitious. I'm sure many of you can relate to that. I thought to myself if these guys can do it then that means I can too. Why not? So from there I started to aim really high, instead of aiming for $10k a month I started to aim for $100k a month. What this did is literally force me into taking action. Note: I didn't force myself but my aim forced me to take action automatically.
When you aim high you may not acheive your target straight away, but what you do achieve is bloody good results.
Example:
If you aim for $100 a month, you'll make $20 a month,
If you aim for $1,000 a month, you'll make $300 a month
If you aim for $10,000 a month, you'll make $2,500 a month or maybe $5,000 a month
If you aim for $100,000 a month, you'll make $25,000 or maybe $30,000 a month
You see what I'm trying to get at?
The higher you aim the better your result. Even if you don't achieve your high target, you'll end up pretty high anyway.
There's something almost "supernatural" about this method. Because it almost always works. You automatically start getting ideas, good ones, you automatically start thinking straight and you automatically start doing what you have to do to achieve what you want to achieve.
What happens when you don't achieve anything? You get disappointed right?
Yes you do, but what's wrong with that? This disappointment only makes you stronger and better at achieving your goal. It doesn't stop you. Failure happens, you'll face it, learn from it and move forward happily and automatically.
This method gives you solid determination!
So to achieve something you need to aim high. It works, I know because it works for me.
I'll finish this post with the following quote from W. Clement Stone...
"Aim at the moon, if you miss you may hit a star"
Thank you for reading, I hope I didn't bore you too much.
