Hi Guys,
I'm creating a Powerpoint Presentation with Camtasia and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to do it well? Should I use the PowerPoint Add-In or just record the screen normally? I'm going to be providing the Videos to Download. What format is it best to save them in? Any other advice would be deeply appreciated. Best Wishes, Kenneth |

Kenneth,
This video seems to cover it pretty well: associatedcontent.com/video/16435/create_an_online_video_using_powerpoint.html Best wishes, Tim Kerber |

Hi Kenneth,
1. Change your browser resolution before recording so that you record your video at the browser resolution of your average viewer (mayber 1024x768) 2. Use a good microphone (audio is important) 3. Use notes 4. Get friendly with your pause button :=) 5. Set your Camtasia record mode on 'AVI' instead of 'camrec'. 6. When it comes to editing: import and export your video at the same size. That's all if can think of for now. Craig Maclean |

Wow..I was just tasked with giving out a pp presentation on Monday and was thinking the best way to go about it.
I come here and find this helpful thread. I do not yet have camtasia, but I think it might just blow some people if I manage to record my presentation. thanks for all the tips. I think I'll be playing with it this weekend. |
