EZA article approved in 15 minutes!

What's that all about? I have Platinum status but never that fast. I submitted at 10:50p on Thursday and it was approved at 11:05pm. Unfortunately, I'm toooo tired to try to submit more.

I also noticed that they are working over the weekend. I had articles approved last Saturday and Sunday.

Wow! I have never had an article approved on a weekend. Is platinum their paid service?

Platinum is the rank where you can submit unlimited articles. Premium is their paid service.

Many other directories have immediate approval and No monthly fees. If your focus is to get good SERP, it can be achieved through other directories as well with the help of backlinks.

Just for initial burst of traffic (Most of them are your competitors!!) is not a good idea to pay $97 a month, For that matter any amount as it has lot of traffic leaking to Adsense.

Maybe a lot of the direct traffic from EZA is competitors but I can tell you that a good portion of my income comes from direct traffic from EZA. I agree that you can get immediate approval and decent search engine ranking with other directories but the direct traffic from EZA is not just spying competitors, it can be VERY valuable.

I will give them a shot. However, I am a bit tired using them and lately I've submitted to AB. They are slower in getting the rankings, but with a little help they get on page one. And if I get them some good backlinks I will outrank any EZA.

Wish I could say the same about my articles. Just check and after nine days they're still just sitting there. Oh well, such is life.

Isn't it just the case that if you are submitting articles every day then you will always have articles going being published on a regular ongoing basis anyway, without paying the $97.00 ?

    Hi Roy,

I agree with you that it will be a better idea to write and submit articles on a daily basis. As long as there is a constant submission of fresh content, the articles will be published almost on a regular basis.

I personally feel that the premium services will give the author instant gratification as the articles are approved fast. This is very useful for authors who writes a lot of articles.

Besides these, the premium services will give a detailed stats on the keywords that the visitors used when they search for the author's articles. A good way to track which articles and keywords are working.

    Just my 2 cents

Hate to be the party pooper, but this is gimmick EZA does from time to time. They will suddenly approve a bunch of your articles lightening fast so you can see first hand what you'd be getting with their Premium service. Then it's right back to the 3-7 day waiting periods again...

    Hi Matthew,

You might want to read the EzineArticles blog as they are already trying their best to approve the articles as fast as possible.

=> From My Desk to Yours – 2nd Edition

Their article approval speed will be back to normal in 1 to 2 weeks time. If you are a platinum member, the longest waiting time should only be 3 working days. That is the longest time that I wait for them to approve the articles.

Most of the time, my articles will be approved within 2 working days.

Be patient with them as they are already trying their best

I was wondering if anyone was still paying for the Premium membership. I thought that was why articles were being approved so fast - that they had hired more staff.

I was frustrated last week because some articles I submitted over Labor Day weekend weren't approved by the next weekend - even just modifications. I had given up on seeing the weekend boost of traffic. I checked my email on Saturday and three articles were approved. On Sunday I had a couple more get approved. I was shocked.

I would think that as you get up in the EZA author rankings your articles might get approved faster. Is anyone with Platinum status regularly waiting over 4 days for articles to get approved?

I have Platinum status and have been waiting about 4 days now to get my articles approved .

However, strange thing happened last night, I submitted an article and it was approved within an hour or so!!!!!!!!! So it beat the ones that are still sitting there from 4 days ago. Work that one out!!

Obviously there was something going on last night. Maybe it was just a glitch in the system and the articles really didn't go through the whole approval process. Anyway, we always gripe about EZA so I like to put up some good stuff when I get it.

EZA has been slower in approving my articles since 2 weeks ago. I have to wait for 2 whole weeks before they get approved. But since it's worth the wait, I'll just accept it the way it is. Just hope they get back approving it fast like the old days.

    Nice, usually they take forever

I wonder if its because of the nature of your article

I've only been sending articles to EZA for a couple of months but they seem to be getting a bit quicker. ArticleBase and ArticleCity are much quicker for me but EZA gets more results.
Has anyone any comments on whether using article submission sites to submit to hundred of ezines is any good? Some of them also offer an automated article re-writing service to beat the Google duplicate content problem but I wonder if that can make your articles seem disjointed and clumsy?

Wow, that's ludicrous some people get there's accepted in 20 minutes while others are waiting 2 weeks, oh well, guess that just gives them more platinum members paying $100 per month, I suppose its good for business...

If that is the case then I can't wait to get to Platinum. It's been taking about 12/13 days to get approved at the moment.

But no point in complaining about that. Sure they are doing what they can and I'm not paying anything for it so que sera an all that.

Can anyone tell me the criteria for getting platinum? I have run out of submissions and it says you will get upgraded to Basic Plus or Platinum. How do they decide?

WOW--I just got started on EZA a few weeks ago, have 8 articles live at this time and have not yet reached Platinum status. I had one article with no problems, edits, (you know how picky they can be!) and it took 16 days!!!

But who cares as the info is not time sensitive and you gotta love the page ranking it gets in Google!
