Need help for humor niche

I have only 1500$ for this project (I want to consider it as long term project)

I am very passionate about cartoons and memes, I have lots of experience on health/life blog but about this niche I am little bit scared.

I want help for the content can anyone suggest me any good website for this niche.

Reason I am looking for any website example is I am very good with cartooning but I don't know where to start.

I don't want to create webcomic, what I love to do is Graphical information(cartoon) with little bit of satire. Do you think it is a good idea and please share any weblink you have in mind.

Thanks

When Zachery asked if you had done any market research, I don't think you understood what he was talking about. Searching for people that have written about a topic won't help you to understand if there is money to made in a niche.

Research, not "searching," involves finding out what people in the niche will buy, finding out the problems and desires they have. It involves seeing what other competitors and products there are in the niche and figuring out how you can serve an audience and get paid for your efforts.

There can be some money made in most niches; however, what you're planning to do does not sound like you have explored the desires of those who might purchase what you plan to sell. Is it a product? Is it a service? Are you going to sell advertising on your site? Just how are you going to get prospects to give you their money?

Personally, trying to make money off humor sounds like a huge challenge to me with so many free and accessible sites that are already established and making money off their advertising.

Anything is possible, of course. But I would strongly suggest you tap into the audience you plan to serve and find out what they want ... which might or might not be what you are planning to offer.

        The best to you,

        Steve

OP if your goal is to make People laugh/smile ... Then go for it. The board game Monopoly was "rejected" several times before it was successful. (There are countless more examples of "famous failures.")

Many People like being "realistic" however the Superstars couldn't give a **** about that.

          That's where positioning and being
          "creative" comes into play.

          ...

I can see a Webpage where you share
          your Memes/Cartoons integrated with
          Facebook comments.

          Then perhaps something like:

          Friends and receive 90% commission
if they buy something from my
          eMail list."

          (Just an idea.)

OK... lemme tell you something you might not read/hear in other places... on the Internet, as long as you know where to look... you can FIND money "anywhere"!

That being said, lemme give you an example...

Back in about 2002, I got friendly with a ... get this... Psychic... OK, ok.. so we got a little cozy... ANYway.. we got to talking and we came up with the crazy idea to build out an Online Psychic Live Chat Network; meaning, I'd build out a site that allowed for Psychics to have their own private chatrooms where they could do "online readings" of people...

Since she was an actual Psychic, she knew where to find the Psychics AND the people looking for readings. We did ONE announcement at a Psychic Fair event... basically like a Psychic Seminar... anyway, long story short... we wound up getting over 3K hits on launch day! ... and this kinda traffic continued until we were in agreement to shut the site down...

Moral of this story... do what you know...

You said you were passionate about comics, memes & graphics... so sit and think and figure out how you can incorporate that passion into this new niche... this is 2017! I did the above in 2002; over 15yrs ago... (food for thought)

If you can wrap your brain around the original Internet (Marketing) mentality; which was/is basically.. information is meant to be free but, if you're skilled and nice about sharing it... you'll be able to make some money if you do what you love...

Things have gotten a little convoluted over the years; (or course, don't be naive enough to think I'm saying that that's ALL there is to it); but, its core is basically still the same..

    Hope this helps

This has also helped me as well as I am also into humor blogs. I have been blogging on my blog since about 2013 and I have gotten traffic, but not the traffic I have wanted. I am okay with not making money, but I would like for my content to reach many people. I write about humor in mostly politics and treasures i find around the internet.

        P.S.
Something that many People/Webmasters probably haven't thought of is integrating Facebook comments with your every "Meme/etc."

Yes tecHead, psychic stuff is an awesome niche! I made a bit from this niche when you could use SEO to rank just about anything quite well.

Well anyway, I had a few psychic related pages make some good income but I never really followed it up.

BTW women love this niche a lot more than men.

Consider creating a Website and/or eMail List something like: "Your Daily Meme." (There's literally thousands of them online ...)

Then, once you have a good following consider "monetizing" your list. Many times it's not about what you do, rather how you present and old idea with a new "twist."

The best places to start off are forums and Facebook groups related to health.

Now in order to understand your market, you need to be in the market yourself.

Find out what people are talking. What are their concerns, needs and problems?

And how you can solve them.

As for solutions, you may want to do research again via Google and Youtube which are still by far the best places for answers.

You can also participate in offline community and social networking groups related to health in sites like Meetup or watched TV news about the current ongoing health developments.

    Hope these helps.
