Comment Kahuna....Do You Use It?

I tried out comment kahuna today and as a whole I found it to be a great concept.

However, even though my niches are common and I clicked find ALL and used broad keywords..it did not generate a lot of results.

In addition many of the results were wordpress themes with my keywords or something about drupal which I dont know what that is...

anyone else experiment with this?

I have not used it personally, but I have definitely heard some good things about it. In fact I was about to check it out myself one of those days I would get around to stop being lazy and then I'd actually do it. But now I can simply look at what others felt about it.

I didn't feel it generated enough results and the drupal blogs thrown in there was strange.....
Great premise though.

Yes I use it. You get better results if you ping the blogs that you post comments too immediately after. I ran a test and my site got indexed faster with the keywords I posted on the blog comment after the ping..it was indexed in less then a week. Without pinging some took weeks or months

I like Fast Blog Finder better. ALSO, many of those Drupal sites have do-follow in the comment section.

Do you mean it was indexed shortly after you pinged your comments or without commenting and pinging it took weeks.

I am not sure what a drupal site is but it appeared to have nothing to do with my keywords. I will check into fast blog finder..thanks!

I've been using comment kahuna over the past 3 weeks and have increased my baclklinks from 200 to over 600 in that time.

I would suggest trying a variation of keyword searches on CK to locate appropriate blogs to post on. When you post, make sure you add at least one sentence that fits the context of the previous blog posts.

You could also set up your own pages on the following sites:

livejournal
weebly
squidoo
hubpages

Add about 200-300 words on each of these pages with links to your site.

Drupal is a content management platform, like Wordpress.

Ok so if I am looking for blogs in the weight loss niche why would all kinds of blogs about drupal show up. They all seemed to have techno type text. They were not about weight loss and this happened with each niche I looked up.
