Testing out Article Marketing

Hi...
In the next month or so, I'll be testing out article marketing.
If everything works out well, I'll implement it in my overall IM strategy.
This is what I'm planning to do:

1) Select a product
2) Set up a simple landing page with a mini review of the offer
3) Write 5 articles for the main keyword
4) Write 5 articles on 4 related keywords (20 articles)
5) Submit to EZA and later to goarticles

Rinse and repeat.

Any comments?

    the key to articles is obviously rinse repeat, rinse repeat... most people stop long before the real benefit of articles is apparent. I would also recommend getting Keyword Elite 2.0... yes its an affiliate program I promote.. but it is the hands down BEST keyword tool available and I have used all of them!! including ones that cost $177/mth...

    ... anyways even if you dont buy it.. if you follow my link in my sig there is a free download called the Keyword Minute that will pop up... If nothing else download the book and read the section on Dominating with Articles its under Keyword Minute #3.. a really Powerful technique, simple to implement and FREE

      I'm not bitching and I have nothing against affiliate programs. But, come on, you are trying to promote a lickbank product here at the warriorforum...?

      Almost all warriors have at least one CB ID, why should they buy trough your Aff. ID and not their own?

      Are you offering a special bonus? Do you offer anything of value?
      If not, then create something and offer it as a bonus.
      (btw. isn't it against the TOS to have affiliate links in your signature here at WF?)

    Hi Alexa... Thanks.

    Yes, I forgot to mention that, the second time the articles gets posted (at go articles, articledashboard and so on) I'll link them to the original article at EZA.

    I'll probably do some social bookmarking also, however, since this is a test, I wont use tools like SENUKE and BMD.

    Another thing I'll do is to keep the articles very short (250) and use the ressource box to "finish" the article.

    You are on the right track but never forget to build backlinks to those articles. The best way to make money from articles is to get them ranked in google and the other big search engines.

    I am not trying to say you will not make money by posting on EZA and the other directories alone but getting them ranked in google makes it better.

    Last month was my first real short at article marketing and was able to make $511 which is so far my best. The good thing is that you articles will continue to bring in the cash.

    Just yesterday I made $53 and I have made $70 today so far which tells you something about article marketing.

    Wish I had passed through that route right from my day one on the internet.

      Sounds very true. Do you have any ideas for building backlinks, some that works better than others, when doing Article Marketing.

      Hmm... Sounds very good. If you don't mind me asking, how many articles do you write a day and are you promoting CB products?

    The problem I have found is NOT really the article marketing
    process itself, but the "rinse and repeat" aspect. LOTS of us
    don't "rinse and repeat". If we do, we will surely reap the
    rewards.

    Right now I promote my sites MOSTLY via 30 to 70+ daily
    article submissions, especially to EzineArticles and the other
    top 20 article directories. I notice that I get much more
    results from these than the hundreds of other article
    directories in terms of DIRECT TRAFFIC, but the other
    hundreds of article directories work in helping to improve
    your rankings, if you do things right by targeting the
    keywords you want to rank for in the resource boxes.

    So - like you have outlined out here - have a plan,
    stick to it, and "rinse and repeat". It's sure to work,
    even though slowly! Didn't they say "slow and steady
    wins the race"?
