Would Vegan/Healthy baking be a decent niche for an Amazon affiliate site?

Hi guys I'm very very very new to all this and was just wondering if just through things like cook books and baking courses, I could generate a little sum of money from amazon affiliates?

Would love to hear your opinions!

    I suggest you research recent Amazon affiliate issues before you consider their affiliate program.

    It might be. Think of all the related products you could promote. Juicers, food processors, I bought a tool that peels and cores a pineapple, there are a lot of things you could promote on amazon.

    Check elsewhere too where the commission percentage will be higher.

    This niche converts extremely well on Amazon, but commission rates are low. Try promoting high end products such as kitchen cooking/baking appliances aligned with your books and baking courses. Note that you will earn commissions on any eligible product that your customers buy within 24 hours of their shopping session.

    That's a specific niche that can be converted well if you know what you are doing. Anyway, generating just a "little sum" can be done for almost any niche but you can always promote more offer (baking supplies, appliances) or other high commission products (Clickbank?). Just study other blog similar to you. I don't really know any vegan baking site but for example http://shecallsmehobbit.com/ is a good example of a niche baking site in keto/low carb food.

    Take it to youtube man. The first thing you need to learn is to generate traffic. I've learned through a lot of testing this year that niche websites will keep trending downward as youtube/facebook dominate. Use youtube and facebook to gain massive views. If you have a lot of traffic, then monetizing will be the least of your problems
    If a niche website got you 500 views in a month, isn't that demotivating? I shared a youtube video the other day on reddit and got 1000+ views in 10 hours and it was a poker song

    To help learn if this is really a good niche you want to spend time on Amazon looking at various products related to the niche as those will be the items you want to promote. Since Amazon's commissions are relatively low you want to find if there are high ticket items on Amazon that sell well.

    Appliances such as juicers and food processors where mentioned above and those may be very good. Amazon will provide some information about the sales rank of items. For my FBA business I use camelcamelcamel.com to show me recent sales history and frequency of s specific item number using the ASIN number listed on the Amazon product page. I hope this helps.

    The industry is good. Generation Y sure do love their vegan donuts, even if it means a bit of gout and heart disease as long as, you know, it doesn't hurt a cow.

    Amazon Affiliates. You could get a little money if you do well. Emphasis on little.

    I would look elsewhere for monetisation. But you know, when you're starting out it is unlikely to matter very much at all.

    Amazon. Adsense. $0.10 every few weeks sure can add up over 30 years.

    And think a while about what exactly your audience wants and why they're going to read what you have to say instead of Healthy Life Magazine or Vegans R Us or whatever magazine.

    If you're okay with lower affiliate payouts, Amazon associates is fine

    But if you want truly PASSIVE INCOME, try KINDLE

    HINT: Look at their best seller list. There's one cooking niche that is making BAAAAAAAANKKKK!

    Yes, you could definitely be successful with a healthy/vegan Amazon affiliated business -- it is the wave of the future, after all! For baking/cooking courses, I would recommend short videos and great pictures, which might help your specific recipes go viral. Oh, and don't forget to use Pinterest/Instagram/Facebook too!

    Yes as they're a fantatical fanbase and as the other posters say there are all kinds of things to sell to them.

    Most vegans I know are a pain in the ass though but they are fun to troll.

    You can be an Amazon affiliate. But just what you're asking for, you're really going to get just a little sum of money in there

    Why not try selling your courses on Udemy, and insert affiliate links in your content (sell baking/kitchen equipment, materials, etc., and not necessarily from Amazon.) Just try!

    I notice similar type products seem to be doing well on social media. Niches like Paleo and Anti Inflammatory, offering free downloadable guides and recipes, great for list building.

    You can go the kindle publishing method just make sure your cookbooks are unique or the authority site method which uses more articles and reviews vs recipes ; making it easier to get content for.. Both will take a lot of work and at least 3 months to show a return. Be prepared to do a lot of research ahead of time .

    For the health niche ideas look at women's magazines for the many new diets that are being started monthly.

    YES! When used properly..

    Had an SEO client with a baking site, she collected almost 200,000 emails in just 1 year with posting 100s of free recipes online and signing up for the new recipe of the day email.

    She never offered anything else to them.. so it was valueless..

    But when we applied a premium cookbook for them to purchase (with a proper email sequence building it up).. we came out with $0.13 per subscriber.

    PS: That's $26,000 in profit from 1 month of emailing the right offer..

    The new payout structure is sh*t for health-related niches.

    Consider Home & Garden, luxury goods, or one of the other higher commission rate niches.

    BTW, kitchen goods aren't considered home goods. ex. Juicers.

    Yes, cooking will be a great place.

    Whether it will be vegan, paleo diet and breadmaking.
