You might also want to look into Esty they might accept your work. It takes about 15-20 minutes to set up your profile. Esty will then take your store live once every thing is complete.

Another place to post your artwork would be Pinterest. Then drive the traffic from there to your website. Enough shares and followings if your are is popular can help sales.

I'd create a brand and website around your art. Let people view and use the digital copies for free, and sell prints along with other merchandise. See how TheOatmeal.com does it, and do something similar. It doesn't have to be humorous like TheOatmeal although that would certainly help. The owner of that site supposedly earns six figures a month from his online store.

It's always best to sell your original art pieces. The best ways to promote them are through social media (Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook) and websites in which you can display your artwork. You can even build a website for this matter. Good luck!

Well, it is good to know how to design. You can work on the 99designs, fiverr, Upwork & many other sites. Beside these, you can make a website to sell your ready made design work. I am sure, you will be able to be success in the designing sector. Thanks for your interest.

Etsy would be a great place to have a look into. They eat up things like art and crafts there.

If l remember correctly Etsy, is good, but you have to slave away for peanuts on that one.

Graphicriver, is probably the best one in regards to sales, but it takes time to figure out what the mods want when submitting work, (all work needs to be reviewed first).

Creative Market is the second best one, as l have seen, (with flyer sales) that they tend to sell half as well as GR, and aren't easy to get an account with, (you have to submit 10 or more pieces, and hope that they will let you in) but once in, you can sell whatever you want, (within reason).

Flyerroom is the third one, and is easy to get an account with, with no reviews on products, but since they are into packages, your prices will probably have to be higher than usual.

I haven't tried to third one, but will sign up eventually.


Not quite sure what type of artwork you are doing, but if you are serious about making money from it, then these are probably your best ones.

There are many websites for you to sell your artworks: Fiverr, Upwork, DevianArt, etc.

One of my offline businesses deals with framing artwork and has done for the last 26 years or so.

We see a lot of artwork coming though our business in Australia coming from this online auction house Fine Art & Collectibles - Buy Fine Art & Collectibles Online - GraysOnline Australia

We also see people buying from Etsy and Ebay and there is a large percentage buying whilst cruising. One of the dominant suppliers in this space is https://www.parkwestgallery.com

I don't know how well they compensate their artists but they must push through some volume of originals and editions.

Some of the successful local artists, who don't mind stepping over the line into commercial supply, then to do so through setting up a regular display at the right kind of market and then develop a social following.

It depends on where your ambition lies.

Do you want to make a successful living from the profession or do you want to gain recognition .... or both?

The fine art world tends to rely more on "king makers" who can foster and support an upcoming artist in whom they see potential. They function as the conduit to grow by exposing you to their clients and they understand the process of using art as an investment. This is a whole world within itself which usually requires immense talent coupled with the right approach to joining the clique.

do you have a few, high value pieces, or many lower value pieces? are they easily shippable? broad appeal, or narrow market? If you post some more details, I would be happy to help if I can.

a basic, generic response would be to put up a simple, cheap wordpress site, build a network of social media around that site, independent of any socials that you may already own, use links to connect all of your social media together, and link to your main site. and then use facebook ads to send targeted traffic to your website.

Use appropriate hashtags, and interaction with your target market on your social sites, be active on all of them, as much as you can.

You can use eBay or Amazon to sell your artworks. I have seen some of the artist sell their artworks on these marketplaces.

You can always sell copies of the artwork, but the original always has to cost more than the copy. You can try selling them on e-bay, with the right tags and a little luck someone will see your work and buy it. You can also post pictures of it on facebook, you can find dozens of groups on almost any topic on facebook and yes there are also facebook groups made for selling artwork.

It's good to have your own art website. However, you can also start by showcasing your artwork on art websites such as DeviantArt.

I would put lower resolution watermarked images of my art all over the place deviantart, liked out to pitnerest, twitter etc and market it. Then I would have a high resolution print for sale on my website... prints only, I would never let the high res image be distributed
Sign and number it, just because for some reason people prefer signed and numbered images.

Create groups and communities in social networks. In addition to your arts, fill your groups with interesting content

I recently started promoting on Instagram amd was amazed by the engagement, comments, likes and followers.
So my suggestion to you: find a platform you like and fits your budget: it can be Etsy (I personally don't like it, but it can be a good option), Amazon, or any other big platform, including options like zazzle. or even shopify - building your own store.. Would not recommend starting with Ebay, though, unless you understand exactly how to do it right.After you build your own store, start promoting on Instagram. build a good page and start building as many followers as possible, posts, likes, comments, etc. Now start promoting your art store on Instagram.

I highly recommend you try etsy for selling your artwork it's a brilliant place to start. Alongside that I recommend setting up an Instagram account for your artwork and build a following and audience from there to purchase your stuff from etsy.

My cousin is creating clay produts and it works very well for her.

Etsy was my first thought. You should do well there.

I'd say Graphicriver would be the best place.

Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram. Users are way more engaged. Especially with Instagram.

If they are 1-of-a-kind works.. I suggest Etsy..

From there, list on eBay or your own personal site.
