Great idea to put all these things in one area.
I think WSO is short for Web Special Offer.
Not sure about MNF or MFN or FNM...
    Hope that helps,
    -Andy

Thanks Andy. I just read a post where a member explained what SB was...Social Bookmarking. Kinda odd though how some people say SB's. I mean that would flesh out to Social Bookmarking's LOL.

I'll post more abbreviations as I see them here.

A lot of forums have posts that are turned into stickies. Does this forum have such a thing? Maybe someone could make up a sticky that we could all contribute to resulting in a Warrior Forum glossary.

It'd be great for new one's like me.

I'm pretty sure that WSO is Warrior Special Offer and MNF is Micro Niche Finder.

I think you are right about MNF. But now we have a conflict between Warrior Special Offer and Web Special Offer. My guess would be that it is Warrior Special Offer. Anybody know for sure?

Most of the abbreviations meanings can be found by hovering your mouse over the letters and and the meaning will appear above your cursor. For example, hover your mouse over these two words:-

    WSO

    OP

And you will get their meanings above your cursor.

I kinda wondered what that underline thingy that appeared under some words was. I just assumed that was some sort of spelling checking automatically kicking in to warn forum readers that there was a mispelled word.

I know, I know...me a web developer thinking it was a mispelled word checker? Get real!

But hey...what can I say. In the back of my mind that's what I thought it might be and I didn't want to take the time to really figure out what that underline thingy was LOL.

Still...it doesn't show up for every abbreviation this the need still for a more comprehensive glossary of abbreviations and terms actually used on this forum somewhere (not just a general glossary of internet marketing terms that few will bother to take the time to read in it's entirety).

I was having dinner with a few friends the other night and they keep talking about "IM" as in instant messaging.

To the 'outside world' there is only one meaning for IM. You have to belong to this tiny, tiny group known as Internet Marketers to associate IM with what it is we do.

Ask somone who doesn't have a computer if they hate spam and see what they say. Oh, they're out there...

Yeah...I was having a hard time wrapping my head around how one could make a WSO out of IM (instant messaging) while talking about CTR and CPC on a web page while keeping the CPC potential in mind depending on where in the SERPS it showed up LOLAROTF!!

        Huh??!

        Now I know LOL.

I thought ubber Geek types were bad in using a special linguo. But let me tell you understanding the Geek types is easier than understanding some of the linguo on this forum. At least initially.

Hmm...then again...I cut my teeth on the Internet hanging around on Geek type forums to a fair degree so I guess understanding Geekspeak is easier for me naturally than understanding IM talk.
