Hello Warriors.. I started promoting a CJ offer, I used a link cloaking service to hide my affiliate link (forced to do)..I tested the loaked link and it works fine.. However..the statistics from the cloaking service shows today about 50 clicks.. While on CJ performance report, I only got 8 clicks!! Does anyone know about the reliability of CJ reporting? Maybe it takes sometime to update the status or it shall show up immediately? What maybe the problem? Thanks |

I have also experience this before. I think the stats from CJ is not live, so try waiting a while to see if it catches up.

dunno what cloaker you use, but I use one from MaxBlogPress and it NEVER matches anything for some reason. Those things are just not reliable for true stats.

I've used CJ for years and their reporting has always seemed accurate. It's not real-time, delayed about 3 hours I think. Are you sure your cloaking service is accurate? Some of them count "clicks" from bots wheresas CJ doesn't.

CJ does not have real-time tracking. They are always delayed by about 2 to 4 hours. Another thing to consider is how your tracking from the cloaked links work. Do they track every single click from the same IP address, or does it count one click from one IP address even though that person might have clicked three times? I know some networks only count one IP address as one click, although I'm not sure if CJ does or not. Just something to consider. Hope this helps. |

mpruben is right. I think it's bot clicks, which CJ filters out. Here it is from CJ. Quote:
