I just wanted to know if there are any websites with high authority that allow you to post on their site?

    Yes, Youtube but this time it's video marketing and its FREE. Get this right and you will find it easier to get more traffic than standard SEO and back-linking from articles/blogs etc. You can still power up your videos with video backlinks but also you increase the perceived value of your content by embedding your videos in your site content. This will create more engagement with your site.

    Totally agree, I love Youtube really use it a lot. It provides 75% of my online income.
    There are a lot of authority sites you can backlink with but that's another subject.
    However, you could probably post on major sites you need to approach them with a viable JV offer. Obviously, you will need credibility before you can possibly interest a major player.
    Better to send them a lure (an offer they can't refuse).

    Find great blogs to guest post on by conducting a google search in your niche market. Look for the best or top blogs. For example, if you are in the weight loss niche.
    Do a search for top weight loss blogs. Contact the owners of the blogs by email and tell them you like their blog and you are interested in guest posting.

    Wait for a reply and you may get the opportunity to post on someone else's blog. You will be able to add a link back to your website with your name. This will build your presence online.

    Some blogs offer a posting application that enables you to fill out an application on their website for guest posting. Huffington post may be a good place to start.

    You can contact any well-known and established website. Check what type of topics they are publishing. Offer them you will give them a long quality article and you will ask nothing in return except that you will have your link in the bottom of the article. Many will refuse, but many will accept. Then you go and research Internet, put a good informative and interesting article together and send to them. This is widely known as guest posting. If you really have a good article they will gladly publish it.

    Simply Google "Your Niche" Blogs and you will see tons of them on front page.

    With Google persistent changes in their ranking algorithm, those are definitely authority sites.
