Need suggestions on setting up Affiliate programs

Hi all,

OK, Allen has got my attention.

Besides ClickBank what are some quick ways to set up affiliate programs. I know e-Junkie has a way but you are responsible for paying your affiliates, it's not automatic.

Ideally it will be instant payment to PayPal.

    I think you can set RAP up to do it by rotating payments between you and the affiliate. It's easier just to use something that tracks commissions, then pay them using mass pay on PayPal.

      That would be ideal, but I think with the new Affiliate Thing Allen is doing he wants instant payment.

    iDevAffiliate is one of the best third party integrations you could use. Maybe not the best for this one-off situation, but if you want to manage a large number of affiliates and payouts it is in my opinion, the best out there.

    RAP, or you could use something like LFM and then paid instantly (daily/weekly) to Allen, or Nanacast, I'm sure Josh would be able to explain it far better than I can.

        Depending on the situation I would have to agree with idevaffiliate (i use it myself) and clickbank(i have used it in the past)

          Depends what your goals are.

          I did this investigation several years ago and decided against Clickbank at that time for three reasons:

          1)You have no control over what your affiliates do.

          2)You have no way to contact your affiliates.

          3)You don't get the addresses of Clickbank buyers, so you have limited followup possibilities.

          For the reasons above, I chose FusionQuest, which also included a free shopping cart. I was very happy with them.

          I now use 1shoppingcart.com, which also lets me approve or disapprove affiliates (I do turn down people), create promotional tools for affiliates, contact some or all affiliates, change the affiliate percentage by product or by affiliate or however I like, and also get complete info on all my buyers through affiliates.

    Did a search for fusionquest - looks like it's been taken over by shareasale
    did a search for ShareASale fees - $550 joinup - $25 min per month - 20% of affiliate fees
    ouch - mmm won't be rushing over there - more info ( ShareASale )
    - paydotcom - might work well for this one as I think you can make it a private(invitation only ) program - have to pay affiliates yourself tho
    then there's the new kid on the block Home - PayGear.com -
    looks good
    and then there's
    Affiliates For All
    a neat little open source script well worth looking at
    none of the above are instant pay
    but worth a mention I thought

      1ShoppingCart has affiliate management built in, along with everything else.

      It's a great option.

      The tutorial videos are easy to understand, even if you're dealing with the challenge of being a non-techie.
