Blogging is a strategy that gives so much benefits. To mention a few would be for SEO which is one of the most visible benefit from it.

How does blogging helped you in the business or career that you are having now?

Authority. John Chow is a good example... He was kicked out of Google for the longest time and he still continued to build his fan base; people like him and when people like you it becomes much easier to sell things to them.

...Plus this shows you that when you're creating your blog you shouldn't be thinking 100% about SEO, you should be thinking, "Would people come here even if my blog was no where to be found in Google?" - When you get to that point you're golden (of course not as easy as it sounds)

Creating a blog for SEO is pointless. It's not even SEO, come to think of it. The only thing that a blog can be is a resource with its own audience, and if this audience goes for the services associated, so much the better.

Found this article on the benefits of blogging over the weekend.

What stood out to me was how the author was saying that blogging is "so five years ago," and I guess a lot of people are assuming that blogging is no longer the way to go since micro-blogging came along.

But then he has a case study to show how blogging has benefited a new web site that I had not yet heard of, Alice.com.

Here is a link to the article:

    Hi Jack,

Blogging offers free tips to your potential
customers (without seeming to be selling anything)

I think this helps in a way that it builds
    trust from your customers.

I have around ten opt ins per day through my
free newsletter at my blog and they
are brought through my product funnel.

      Roney,

It is definitely possible. Just use the search box here on this site to look up more information and read up on it.

Also, a fellow warrior offers a WSO pretty often for membership in her program called TheNicheBlogger.com. A bunch of us are members and the program is full of some amazing, step-by-step, easy to follow instruction on how to make money blogging. Just do a search for the name of the program or search "Amy Bass" and you will find her.

There is no doubt that the biggest power of blogging is that it is still regarded as safe, non-marketing, no pitches....basically, good quality content.

Now the IMs that really understand this perception, are very clever and have developed a strategy now called the Triangle of Trust.

They create a video with 95% content and just a little tiny 5% pitch at the end.

They embed this within their blog and tell their list to visit their blog to see their latest video...guess what....a much larger percentage visit the blog and exactly because of what I've described above, namely perception of news, content, credibility.

The video delivers the content and training....with that little pitch, done very softly and carefully at the end and then a link underneath to your sales page, be this your own product or an affiliate.

Try it...be one of the first to recognise its potential and make some money.

Blogging can be a very powerful source of visitors.

Do not overlook this source if you're interested in lots of free traffic.

Lots of marketers have blog farms where they rotate the same content ( with a few changes to the title and body ) across at least 4 related blogs and it works like gangbusters.

    Hope This Helps!!
