Best article directory script ?

Hi guys,

I'd like to hear from you what article directory script
you would recommend.

I know about article friendly, article dashboard and article MS
but which one is best and why?
Are there other scripts that are even better?

I'd like to have one that is easy to customize in order to
look like the rest of the website (if the article script is
in a subdirectory of an existing site in order to increase
site's content)

I've used Article Friendly and Article Dashboard and out of those two I would say Article Friendly is the best. That is because it gets updated and there is a very good support forum.

Another thing to consider is using Wordpress. I changed my article dashboard site to WP and am finding that google loves it an awful lot more

I tried the Article less plug in and you can use different themes with it but WP does most of what I want without this plug in.

Nice plugin and I will give it a test run. That article less site is invested with popup/over/takeover pages

I've been successful in using Article Dashboard but its email out facility is useless.

I didn't have a guide. Just installed Wordpress, found and added the template that I liked and went through the many available plug ins until I found what I wanted. When I tried the article less plug in I already had my chosen template installed and found that I could keep my home page as the template I liked.

I am still trying different plug ins until I get it exactly as I want it but the beauty of wordpress is that you can make changes like that.

Yes it is. I declined an article once and it sent the decline notice to 500 of my authors. Another time somebody hacked into the site and emailed my authors. The rest didn't get the email because my host only allows 500 emails per hour and they bounced back. As authors do not like being emailed some of them were not very happy with me.
