Free Teleseminar/Teleconference Service?

Hi warriors,

is there a free teleseminar software/service that can record the teleseminar and then make a mp3 of the session? Can the callers call an 800 number for this free service and join in?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, there are loads of them. I have been using FreeConferenceCall.com for more than two years and am extremely happy with them.

They are free and give you a free recording in .wav format, which you can convert to .mp3 using various free software.

Now that's asking too much. The sponsor (you) always pays for the 800 service. No one offers this free.

It's worth noting that I've asked a lot of my colleagues who also offer teleseminars whether they've ever gotten complaints about the callers having to pay the long-distance charge, and the consensus is no.

So many people have free long-distance these days, or what is pretty close to free long-distance, and even if they have to pay the charge is quite low.

Long-distance is so cheap these days (and often free, depending on the caller's plan) that it really isn't a big deal to expect those calling in to attend the teleseminar to pay for it on their end.

Don't worry about it too much. If your target audience is not yet familiar with the concept of attending a teleseminar, they won't freak out about it. They will realize how cheap it actually is.

I've seen several folks who frequently put on teleseminars include a little blurb to sort of reassure the attendees that it won't cost too much. Something like:

"The call won't cost you any more than what it costs for you to call and talk to your Great-Aunt Edna."

I'm in HK and recorded a teleseminar recently on ghostwriting. I had to call the US, and I used Skype for the call. It was 90 mins and cost less than a $5 to do.
