can I reuse articles from one blog on another blog?

I want to set up a .com domain in one of my niches. I already have a .info domain in that niche, and a blog with 25 articles (all unique, all written by me). Can I reuse those articles in the .com domain? Would I need to rewrite them? If I reuse them as-is, would there be a problem?

There wouldn't be a "problem" but you will do a lot better by at least changing the titles, and tags. For the best results you should rewrite each article on your .com using keywords similar to the keywords in your original articles on your blog.Just add "new" articles slowly say 2-3 a day, that way it won't be so overwhelming rewriting them all at once.

I agree. If you can, use original content for your new blog, there's no real penalty by choosing to copy the original, it's just there's more chance of your articles showing up in the search engines if they're unique rather than a copy of the original.

Then, build backlinks to the articles that are converting (more clickthrus).

You should always try to use unique articles or at least rewrite your articles. I have heard of a plugin here on the forum that allows you to have duplicate content but I have not tried it. I think it's called uniquifier or something..

I agree with the previous posts i like to submit my articles to like 3 other directories after my original article gets published. It's always better for them to be unique but in order to succeed online duplication is the key submit them to as many as you have time for.

If you have any juice on your .info why not 301 redirect to your .com? Google seems to favor .com over .info anyways. Not to mention any juice you did have on your info now flows into the .com. As a rule of thumb when worrying about duplicate content I believe the standard 30% original 70% duplicate applies to google (Thats what I've used in the past and haven't gotten any duplicate content issues from googles webtools.)

It's a good point actually. If you no longer need the info domain (which you don't seem to), doing a redirect would you allow to both acquire a focus and make a smooth transition from one to the other.

If your looking to get rank its better to go with publishing unique content. I've used content from other people and haven't had any problems but using unique content that you write or have someone write for you will help you rank and increase your "expert" status.

I do this all the time, depending on whether you have a "main" blog for public info and a more in depth blog that regular readers follow.

The main site doesn't want to be overloaded but does want to be regularly updated, while the folowed blog wants new content to keep readers coming back.

You can do whatever you want with articles.

If you mean, will Google penalize you for it? Well, that depends. Some people put up articles from article sites on their high PR sites and do quite well with them. Problem is that almost all online business is based on search engine respect.

I would not post the same article on two of my sites. As mentioned, do a bit of rewriting before you add it to the second site.

You can use them in different blogs but make sure there is no duplicate copy on the same blog.

Google has a penalty for each duplicate content. It's always better to have a unique content.

Google will only penalize you if you have duplicate content on different pages of the same domain. There is a lot of duplicate content in many highly ranked article directories and sites. So, i think it should not be a problem.
However, I would recommend that if you intend to use both domains then it is much better to change title, tags (at least) and main content (if you have time) of your articles.

You probably could, but i would consider rewording the post in some manner (article spinning) so that it isn't the exact same... however, it most likely isnt an issue if your two sites don't share the same audience. Heck, some people use their ezinearticles as blog posts word-for-word and there doesnt seem to be an issue.

If you are reusing it for posting and backlink purposes, I suggest don't do it. This might be seen as duplicate content and your site might suffer from this. You can always change or modify your article if you want.

why not? if you are the rightful owner of the two blogs and the owner of the article?
