Hello Warriors, it's been a long time sense I've posted here...

So forgive me if this post is in the wrong spot, or something else...

So I've been put in charge of this website functionally and presence online.

Here is the website URL: thearfirm [dot] com

Not trying to drive traffic or anything, just wanting to know what you all think the site needs.

The first thing that pops out to me is a sales funnel with a strong targeted lead magnet. However, I the only lead magnet idea I could come up with is something like an Android/IOS app that brings them back to the site that has live demo's of Augmented Reality.

You know something that makes the site interactive. Also, I'm working on creating a blog in which we'll post on a regular schedule.

There is so much that still needs to be done, I'm just looking for a third party eye on the site, to see what I've missed...

Thank you in advance...

Just a few things that stand out to me...

First, to me, the site is way to interactive. It takes to much time to navigate and people like me are going to leave. Either I'm going to find what I'm looking for or I'm going to go somewhere else and find what I'm looking for. With your site, I'd probably go somewhere else as opposed to scrolling over every image to see where it goes or what it says.

Second, the flow seems a bit weird. For example, the 'work' page shows me a bunch of different ways that AR is used, and I assume that if I click on one, it will show me the work that your company did in that area. But, instead it takes me to a lead capture form. Without telling me anything about the topic or showing me any of your work samples.

Lastly, and most importantly, I would say that the site serves no purpose at this time. What are you trying to accomplish. The only end game I can see is that you want people to contact you, but about what? The site doesn't provide samples, doesn't provide much information and lacks a call to action that makes me want to take action.

I know it's in its early stages, so just food for thought. I like the design, but I think it needs more functionality as far as navigation and more information that captivates and motivates the visitor to do something.

I have to agree with Gambino...

There is NOTHING on the site that even defines what it is all about.

Augmented Reality (whatever that is) isn't even mentioned on the site, yet (given the domain/business name) I assume that is the core reason someone might have some interest in whatever you are offering.

Note - the only reason I know that the site is "about" Augmented Reality is because you mentioned it in your post... not from any reference on the site

The video intro is attractive - but not informative. It looks like it was used for it's "cool" factor, but has no other purpose.

I think you need to re-think the purpose of the site, and then decide how best to approach achieving that purpose.

Have to agree with Sid and Gambino.

Decide what you want the site to accomplish, and focus on that one thing.

Is it getting people to contact you for possible contract work?

Use your home page to send them down a specific path through the site. If you have case studies for the different topics you hint at but fail to deliver, use them.

"Here's what we did for XYZCO. Can we do something like that for you, too? Fill out the form, and we'll be in touch."

That sounds much more enticing than the current tech equivalent of a spinning logo.

    Hi Nickolie0990,

    The website lacks clarity.

Nothing kills conversions like the like of clarity.

The website lacks a value proposition.

There is no reason for people that have the misfortune of landing on the website to stay for any reason. There simply is no apparent value in spending any time on the website. There is no apparent purpose of the website, there is no clue as to who the intended audience is suppose to be or why they should hang around or do business with you.

You need a clear value proposition that explains who you are targeting, what you do for them, why they should be interested, and what they should do next. Without that it is just a website with no real reason to exist.

    HTH,

    Don Burk
