Hey Warriors, Are you doing niche marketing in multiple niches or just becoming an authority in one niche? Would like to know if more people are into niche marketing or the authority way. |

I do both. But I prefer the main idea of niche marketing though since I can bring in the big passive income without having to worry about many other things. Niche marketing allows me lots of space and time -- so I think I will lean towards niche marketing. |

I have a couple of sites that I am building as authority sites (and have been doing so for about 6 months now) that are slowly starting to kick in profit wise (seems to have taken me that long to 'get it'). I also use mirconiches for adsense sites ala the Xfactor method, just started really ( a month or two now) but it is also proving prfitable. I am trying to keep them all based around the same 'major niche' for cross backlinking within various web 2.0 platforms and for list building (something I am adding to the method myself). Need to give it another 6 months to a year before this vague split test works with regards giving results but both are promising right now

Newbies need to conquer at one niche first and then they can probably handle more than one project at a time. TL |

I'm getting started in it, and from my point of view I want to just focus on one niche and see if I can perfect it. However, I've read others on the forum say that some niches just don't perform.

Hi, Another perspective. It is not a matter of which niche or which micro niche to enter or if it that will perform. It the marketing methods that pull through those niches. Think about it. And hope this helps. Cheers |

I do both. I think Niche Marketing is a great way to make money in IM for the long term. And dont make the mistake of staying away from a Nich because it is too competitive. If you are in it for the LONG TERM it will take care of itself if you are consistent with it !!

I use a system refined over the last few years for entering new niches with the intent of finding those that are most profitable for selling stuff - including my own. I will test 3-5 at a time and typically pull at least one of those out as a winner while the others either get shut down, progress longer (to continue testing) or get flipped. The intent is to test 3-5 and find the one that best warrants authority treatment - then authority marketing takes over and I have a new long-term niche. Right now I have 4 authority niches on the go - each time I add one I outsource more to help these scale. Jeff |

Even when someone don't want to work on multiple niches, I think it is always good to target atleast two niches. That way if one niche goes through a slow period, they will have another one to fall back on. It also keeps things interesting. Tanvir
