Hi Warriors,

If you a Wordpress blogger, you may know the importance of
having a GOOD RPC ping list...

Took some time for me to accumulate all these but I felt like
I needed/wanted to share them with you.

They are 90 sites all together!

Nice list, but I only see 90 sites. Are you suggesting that some of the pass the ping on to other sites?

Well, I checked them out when I made the post and they all seemed to be fine.

I use a majority of them now on one of my blogs. Just adds a few seconds to the posting time of a new post, though.

As a newbie here...how would use this list? Copy and paste them in your WP blog pinging service area? Can you do anything else, like ping a regular HTML website for example?

Yeah, copy and paste them into the "Update Services" Box in your wordpress dashboard.

Just incase, you can find it at: Settings > Writing and at the bottom there will be the "Update Services" text box.

For a plain HTML site I recomend using Ping-o-Matic!

Just fill in your sites detials and it will be most of the more important services =].

Well, what do you know? It is 90 sites.
I just modified the number.

I started out with over 360 sites and cleaned them
by manually removing all the duplicates. Then 90 sites are
what I left with.

Am I funny or what?

Thanks for answering my question. I have yet another newbie question:

How often should you ping a static site? I noticed that the premium account for pingler will ping a site every three days. But if your site does not change won't the websites receiving the ping get irritated and ignore future pings?

Also, I am assuming for a WP blog, the pings are "launched" every time a change is made.

And thinking as I go here...should you ping all content you produce? For example, you post an article to EzineArticles...then ping it. Create a hubpage on Squidoo and ping it, etc.

Well, that's the basic rule of thumb. If you could ping them and bookmark them
at the same time, that would be the best.
