Will forcing accountability hurt my bottom line?

Hi,

I'd like to create a training program in a technical field. I was thinking of doing 2 options, one that is "work at your own pace" and another with mandatory milestones for work/effort.

Although the 2nd offer could be framed as a guided training in stronger terms, I'm afraid that it will also result in a high dropout rate. Is this concern valid?

I think you would lose potential customers with doing this, but that's just a guess. the only way to know for sure is to try it.

Typically, dropout rates are going to be pretty high whichever option you use. The question is, what's going to be the most effective training method for the subject you're teaching? That usually means a method that keeps the interest and motivation of your students at the highest possible level.
