Stay away from DHgate.com or any chinese wholesalers. About 95% of them you find on the net are all scams

Practically everyone knows about doba and their products are all over ebay. The products are good, but the profit margin is bad.

Ok, I've got the same question. I've tried affiliate programs and frankly, I think they're a rip-off unless you have a lot of money to put into PPC.

I also don't want to buy into Wholesale Brands (I think that's their name) because they're kind of expensive when you just want to test the market for one product.

I think someone could make a mint if they would write a real ebook about finding wholesalers who dropship.

Can anyone help us out here? This fish is biting!

I have been a member of WorldWideBrands for many years. They are the most respected company on the net and certify every dropship company they work with. 1000's of companies.

You need to know, that in order to be able to buy at actual wholesale prices if you live in the U.S., you have to actually have a licensed business (Real Business). Trying to compete in the dropship business you need to buy in quantity in order to get decent pricing.

I spent about two years trying to get to a volume flow of products where I could see decent profit margins but the competition and limitations of product availability especially name brand products was fierce. Many name brand companies require substantial deposits and have strict inventory turn over policies.

Don't get me wrong, I know many successful businesses that sell by dropship. But they also move a lot of product.

You might do better at affiliate partnerships with companies like Commission Junction, LinkShare, Share A Sale if you want to move products in a onesy-twosy at a time type way. But again, you actually have to be in "business" to forge affiliate partnerships within these companies.

I wouldn't recommend Alibaba. I've tried a few different people through them and got ripped off every time. I was trying to find wholesale Wiis on there. I had to intiate a PayPal dispute with one company. With another, I asked for a sample Wii, which I did pay for, they sent me a pair of Nikes and a Christian Audiger Jacket. Getting my money back was too much of a hassle so I ended up selling the two items on eBay. The moral of the story is, finding a reliable wholesaler on there is like finding a piece of hay in a needle stack. You'll probably bleed to death before you find one.

Be careful of alibaba and dhgate, alot of the products are fake and you will just make your customers angry.
