stuck after i have run my first affiliate website

Hello there,

Actually i'm running my first affiliate website in health subniche ( promoting a physical product), with an article about product review and some informative articles in the same niche, so my website is based on seo, then i need to wait for long time until i see some results. Also i'm working on social media and link building to get free traffic .

In the meantime i'm lost and i don't know what i should to do, stay focusing with my only one website niche with the same startegy (seo), or starting another niche website and promote another physical product and so on ?

Or moving to another affiliate network like ( clickbank ) to promote digital product, but there where i'm confused and hope you provide me some help. i heard to promote clickbank products, it's a waste time if you don't capture leads? and also i would to know if we can promote clickbank offers without using paid advertising ? with seo and free traffic sources?

Looking forward your response!
Thanks in advance

Make sure your first website makes you some income before you move to the next.

Keep doing SEO and rank for your keywords.

So as i said " I'm running my first affiliate website " So probably it is in its first month.

Traffic is still very low, that mean no earning

when you are just relying with SEO first month is not enough to get a lot of traffic.
i suggest to keep building backlinks to your site, improved you keywords and create more content related to your affiliate products.
so if you are like to have more visitor instantly so you should go for paid traffic, like ppc.

It is smart to continue doing SEO and keep u ur momentum.

Don't bother going to another niche at this point if you don't have an idea to go after. You can double down on what you have and expand

I would recommend you stay focused on this site for now as it will be a good learning experience for you. I'm a bit concerned that you said

SEO isn't a one and done type thing but rather a continuous (some might say never ending) process which is why you shouldn't be waiting but working. I would be out there promoting my article and getting it seen by the people who will benefit from it most.

Try and develop relationships with other bloggers in your niche and see if you can have them distribute your content.

Heres a good video on content marketing for you by Ryan Stewart

You mentioned social media so get in the groups and make contact with people. One thing I advise the authors I work with is to try and get into 5 conversations a day on social media (about your subject).

With regard to your query about clickbank it is certainly advantageous to build a list (capture leads) but that is also the situation with your current efforts.

If you build a list you can try and maintain contact with the visitors to your site so that when they are ready to buy the product you are promoting they come through you to get it.

    Hey there

    I share your concerns...
I started some time ago and take it from me ..you will get thousand of different answer to your question but the only right answer is to "stay with your first gig"

Do not start any other gig right now..your goal right now to to drive free and pay traffic to your first site until you it start making money..
after you make some money then you can expand to other sites

there are lots of no hands seo products on the market right now that can improve your traffic situation overnight if you have a few dollars that you are willing put on paid traffic

however lots of free traffic will still bring success.. the only thing with free traffic you will have to wait longer to see sucesses

Thanks Sam for your reply Sam,

So i think i will focus on only one project on the time. just the way with paid traffic need to have a good budget to start as you'll need to split test until you found the winner ads.

I would only know as you're started just some times ago, you start to get some earning ?

You shouldn't expand into other niches, at least not until this one is making you a consistent income. I recommend you expand on your current website writing articles about other things in that niche and maybe some more product reviews on other related products. Example: If you are promoting a chin strap to stop snoring, you could also promote a pillow that helps stop snoring. You could also make some helpful videos on youtube, and put a link back to your website in the description.

Some add on to you that will help you.

Apply 80/20 rules will help, if you don't know about this go read up. For your case now is to understand where does most of your traffic come from, then scale up and increase.

Do some split testing, one quick example create a video upload on youtube or whatever place you can upload your video, then upload 2 same video with different title and see which one perform better. Once have a winner, take that video title and do some twitting and see which one do better.

Start learning and APPLY this two method which will help you in future.

Hope this help, good luck buddy.

I think you should focus on your current niche until it makes you money.

Not sure if you have heard the Power Of One.

It might sound simple but it is powerfully effective.

I do have a few questions for you if you don't mind me asking.

    1. How many articles have you written so far?

    2. How many words does each article consist of approximately?

    3. Do you put up your Youtube videos as well?

    4. Do you have social media links like Facebook fanpage, Facebook groups and Twitter pages?

    5. Most importantly, how well do you know and research about the topic you are writing?

In case you might wonder why I am asking these, the reason is very simple.

Most people don't even bother to do ALL or MOST of those.

They just write 1-3 articles probably about 200-400 words either by themselves or outsourcing, a couple of adsense and banner ads and 1 review pointing to a product they hoped someone will buy.

While it used to work in the early days of internet marketing, it is no longer working right now due to Google changes.

Other than those 5, you might also want to add image sliders or get themes which enable image sliders as well as infographics.

You can either do these by yourself or get freelancers to do for you.

Having studies many successful marketers like Adam Short, Andrew Hansen, Chris Guthrie and Mark Ling, I noticed their sites included all the elements I just mentioned.

Be it their blogs and landing pages.

    Hope that helps.

I'd focus all your attention and energy on your first site; where your attention and energy goes, grows. Meaning that as you help folks, learn the ins and outs of SEO and churn out valuable content, sales will increase over time.

I am a clickbank affiliate and yea capturing leads its very important but you can make money without capturing leads also .You can start youtube marketing and makeing videos on a consistent basis and then trafic will go automatic I prefer clickbank over psihical products because comision its more bigger from 5% to 10% its like 50% to 80%
