How do you get that "buy me coffee" or "buy me beer" option in Paypal?

Say I have a website but I don't want to use the Paypal buttons. Instead, I want the "Buy Me Coffee" or "Buy Me Beer" buttons (so as it's not too obvious that I'm begging for moolah

) How do I get those and where do I go in Paypal in order to get the needed link?

you just click that button that says "merchant services" in your paypal.

From there you have the option to choose a "buy now" or "donations" button.

You copy the code and then paste the html code into your website editor of choice

where you want the button to appear and then you upload it to your server.

Hi,

You can host a picture of a little mug or coffee cup or anything on your site.

Then when you are making your PayPal Button you choose the "use your own button" feature putting the path to your graphic in the appropriate place, i.e. http:// www. yoursite/ mug.jpg

What I did to get the link in my signature is:

Merchant Services => Donation button - Name it "Buy Me a Beer"

Pick any button - doesn't really matter

IMPORTANT! Make sure you select UNENCRYPTED!

On the next page use the "Link to place in email" code and make a URL string for it like this:

[*URL="PASTE LINK HERE"]Buy Me a Beer[/URL]

Paste your link and remove the *
