What do you think would be the most consistent way for a marketer with good basic skills,
to consistently make the first 1000 $ on a new project, as fast as possible.

Also would be great if you couod share your first 1000$ story

Sorry guy but just like this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-top-10-a.html
seems like you are looking for the easy way out....

You are not going to be handed the Top 10 best converting products or a simple easy way to quickly make $1K consistently. You need to do some of your own research so you can ask targeted questions...

    Stop thinking like this.

Starting a business is hard and takes time. If you want an easy paycheck get a job.

P.S. If someone had a quick and effortless method to make $1000 with only basic skills, you think they would share it with you? Heck no. They would use it for themselves until it was no longer lucrative and then sell it in the WSO section.

i agree with you. Working online and getting big money is not easy.

    Hey Adagio.

The best way to do this is to sell top tier products. If you sell $2000, $5000, $10 000 products, you literally need to sell one in a month and you've done it. Products that have high upsells in other words. Like an ascension model.

It might sound ridiculous that people would buy products for that price online, yet they do, all day long!

The first time I made $1000 was after I put in many hours of work learning the business and developing a plan AND executing that plan. That wasn't as exciting as the first few hundred dollars I made was quite a surprise because I wasn't expecting it.

I was running a review website and was just focusing on developing content so I was doing research on my topic and writing a blog post for a few hours and decided to take a break. So during my break I went to my commissions page in CJ and bam! There was $298 sitting there. I was shocked and I felt like I won the lottery. The feeling was better than any drug or personal experience I ever had and I chase it everyday.

In my case, making a few hundred dollars was the critical moment because it was a signal that I was going in the right direction. By the time I was making $1000, I was already expecting it because I already broke the ice and was moving in that direction.

In order to make a consistent $1000 you first need to develop a skill that people of willing to pay you for. For me, it was learning how to build a WP site and then how to rank it on the search engines. After I could do that on a consistent basis it was easy to sell that to clients.

There are plenty of ways that a marketer can make $1000 but the question to ask yourself is what can you do for someone else that would make them part with their hard-earned money! And focus on one thing and don't keep chasing shiny objects. Once I did that I was able to make money in my consulting business which is what has kept me off of this forum. Now that I am back on this forum it can be a challenge not to buy products!

A, I would say, any way you enjoy working NOT for the money but for the joy of the work. Could be any online income stream. But the fun/joy/passion of the work makes the money, not the channel itself, and this idea confuses so many well-meaning but scared IMers who work like made on certain channels, fearing that they will lose money (aka, "what is the quickest way to make that money, fast" and that fear guarantees that they go broke.

Because money sprints from a fearful person and money sprints to a person who has no fear of losing money.

I do not share stories about making money because I don't know what I can and cannot share with the mods LOL Not a dig, but just confused about the self-promo stuff here. So I shall refrain.

Do what you love. Help people. Monetize that help through the various streams you learn about on Warrior and through Googling terms and following blogs related to these niches. Over time, the money will flow in, but only after you feel and let go the fear of losing money, and once you release that greediness that goads you to make the money fast.

I made my first $1000 by writing (outsourcing) articles to Demand Media (now Leaf Media). They used to pay me $30.00 for every 300-word piece. Tons of work were available at the time (2011). It was quick, easy money. I made more than $40,000 in two years. Yes, I traded my time but learned a lot from their editorials. I practised copy-writing a lot but eventually given it up since 2012 because of various technical projects in my hands, which I enjoy more.

Made my first $1000 from a niche site using Amazon Associates (Of course after failing A LOT and making a few dollars from a bunch of different methods). I ended up making $4500 each month completely passive income from this website. I think that the secret is CONSISTENCY, I know you probably heard that, but it's so true. I was switching methods without sticking with one. Then I decided that I'm going to make it with this method even if it's going to take me a year to earn a few bucks. Yeah, it took me damn 6 months to get my first affiliate sale (zero SEO... I was a beginner) but a year after I was making $4500 each month and sold $543,719 affiliate sales with Amazon associates.

Almost forgot! Always stand with the rules of the affiliate program no matter how much it's tempting to use black methods. Believe me; I learned it the hard way.

    Good luck!

I made my first $1000 (actually $1700) with a logo design and 2 website design deposits. I landed these by actually following up with them. In the online realm people just want to make sure they are talking to a real person and that you can actually help them. You'd be surprised how many people are just happy that you contacted them and want to help. They have horror stories of past experiences so they just want to fix things. No need for technical jumbo. That just turns them off.

Wish you the best of luck.

Disclaimer: This was over a span of 3 months. Not very fast, but momentum picked up after I got consistent with promoting my services.

Making your first $1000 is going to make you go insane. You'll rip your hair out, scream, and wonder why you're living, but you can make it.

The easiest way IMO to make $1000 is to write articles. If you're good at writing and you have a lot of time on your hands, it's not hard to make that $1000 within a few weeks of hard work.

Also realize that money takes time to get, and you're doing yourself a disservice if you want to get it as fast as you can. Think of getting money like a journey and not a quick sprint and you'll be fine.

Whenever I have a new project I ask myself these four questions:
    1. Is the content/subject matter interesting to me?
    2. Do I have sufficient knowledge to be helpful to others?
    3. Is there a big enough audience?
    4. Is there a clear profit making strategy I could implement?

If I answer, "No" to any of them, I move on to the next idea. By committing my time to something that interests me and I'm knowledgeable about, it mitigates the risk of getting "burned out." By ensuring there are people interested in my idea, I can be sure I'm not just spinning my wheels on a project that goes nowhere. By identifying the profit strategy up front, I ensure I don't do a whole bunch of work only to find out there is no way to make money.

Once I have committed to a project, I take this basic approach:
    1. Build core content (product, landing pages, etc.).
    2. Build supplementary content (add-ons, how-to articles, etc.).
    3. Engage the audience (guest posts, social media, etc.).
    4. Continuously add new content (at least 1 post/article per week).
    5. Re-engage audience with new content.
    6. Cycle through steps 4 & 5 indefinitely (outsource if necessary).

That being said, I don't think it's about making money fast. It's about making money at all. It takes me about 6 months to see ROI on most of my projects. I've estimated that I spend about 80 hours to stand up a profitable project (this is on top of a full-time job). But, once that core content gains traction, and all the supporting content is pointing towards it, the work pays off. Now I have ~15 projects that generate $800-1,000 in passive income each month. It's taken me 3 years to get here, but it was very worth it.

Instead of being negative I saw it as an opportunity , I would burn the ebooks onto a CD and ship to customers , later i was able to find a software that automated the process which made life easier and started my internet lifestyle . My first $1,000 (I assume your question pertains to online marketing only) was in an e-commerce business. Our average orders were around $350 with a 10% to 20% margin (including fixed and variable costs) so it didn't take us very long to make our first 1k but there were 3 founding partners in that business so I can't specifically recall the first 1k in my pocket but we did over 88k in sales our first year, then doubled and sometimes quadrupled sales every year after that. It was a really exciting time until my partners got married and then divorced causing the whole business to come tumbling down along with it (the economic meltdown didn't help much either).

I like e-commerce because you have a much higher ceiling (and a greater chance of success) than blogging, etc.

Be careful with 'fast' it's the number one reason why people fail.

You will succeed if you if accept the fact that it takes a LOT of hard work for this to work.

I went to a seminar and the presenter kept saying he was making all this money and didnt even have a backend.

I thought "What if I create a backend product for this guy?"

After the seminar I went home and contacted his office and told them I have the perfect backend offer.

They said "Sure send it over and we'll tak a look"

I had no product, no website, no nothing!

So I hired some people and built a complete business in 5 weeks.

I contacted them back and said "Its ready, sorry for the dealy"

The marketer liked it, mailed and I made $1000 from the first mailing.

    The marketer was Frank Kern.

Not my first $1000 but a demonstration of how taking risks can pay off....that biz made me many millions of dollars

People make money with different strategies online. Find a niche you know you're good(offering services for sale or selling third party products) at or you love and market the hell out of it using different marketing strategies.

I was promoting an affiliate product that was quite cheap, around $10 or so and somehow it just sold like crazy.. Cheap products have the advantage that people will buy them just out of curiosity.

Funnily enough, I just logged on to come share this exact same thing

I just made my first £1000 ($1250) this week!

Been a long sorry road of failure I can tell you. I joined Warrior in 2011

Made SQUAT in those 6+ years.

Then decided to put my passion & knowledge to use. Got a web builder, a super cool Warrior called Alex Antoniazzi reached out and mentored me for free for a month, after I posted a few threads looking for answers, the Membership site was completed last Thursday...was in pre-launch for about a month

Taken 72 members and over £1000 in total

    absolutely chuffed to bits!

been incredibly long and arduous though, definitely NOT the lap top lifestyle

For me, it wasn't about my first $1000. It was about my first website sale, or my first pay-per-click or SEO client. I started with offering $300 websites on craigslist, and I even gave websites away for free at first to build my portfolio. With monthly clients, even a $100 or $150 monthly retainer for some basic marketing services adds up over time. I went from $400 per month to $1400 per month in a couple weeks by upselling my current customers on other services or offering to help their marketing with other businesses they own.

If you want to succeed you have to learn to not think of your time as money as you do in a job. Instead, focus on selling services as a product and not hourly. Deliver 100% of what you promise, and there will always be a return on your time investment if you never give up. If you give up, your ROI may be zero, but if you continue, eventually you will figure something out that works.

It's also about building relationships with your clients. If they like you, trust you, and can rely on you they will stick around. If you aren't taking care of them or think of them as a bother, they will leave. You can keep a client forever if you turn them into more of a friend and build rapport or a relationship with them. It's important to get over yourself and serve your customers, folks.

For me it was also best not to live on my venture or side business. This puts more pressure on your business and makes it so that you can not be competitive in your prices, leading to fewer sales and lower retention rates. Only when I lowered my cost of living by over half of what it was by moving to a small town, and increased my business to have more profits than my living cost, at this point I am able to live on my business alone.

My first $1000 was from offering a Fiverr service. Kept going for a while and then the whole thing died because of competition and my service wasn't so relevant anymore. Fiverr just came out back then.

I made my first $1k from freelancing (Upwork) actually it was very hrd to get first few jobs for a persn like me who cant speak fluent english. And that time i cant speak english.
First i was submitting proposal and not get any reply i tried many days & stop it. after six month again start submitting proposal and not getting any reply and again thinking that it will not work.
But 1 day i check and find that i had a reply from a client who submitted $5 task on upwork and i offered for complete it in $1. but i saw his reply after 2 days. so he already hired someone. But
That reply force me think again that it will work. And i start bidding again with little better proposal. I earned $18k in last year. and i am doing freelancing from 15 months.

Also i received $555 for refering my clients some services and now started a blog for that. But cant give much time. waiting for someone who can join me and can work as partner. on my very small site.
