Adding Clickbank Affiliate Link to Email

I tried tidying up my CB affiliate link in my first autoresponder email using TinyUrl but that raised my spam score because TinyURL is listed in Spamhaus DBL (exact words used).

Anyone use an alternative technique that makes the link look nice but doesn't flag as spam?

EDIT: I am using AWeber and even though I'm using the HTML Editor, it is not appearing right in the actual email
it is showing the full super ugly coding of
<a href="http://.....com" target="_top">Click Here!</a>

instead of just a clickable "Click Here!"

Have you tried just entering the link without changing it at all?

I think most autoresponders "cloak" the link anyway in outgoing emails to something that goes through their server so they can track clicks for you.

I don't use aweber but does their HTML editor have both a Visual and Text tab? You may need to enter the raw HTML in the text editor if available.

It's most likely because the whole point of tinyurl is to redirect traffic.

So set up your own redirects using the same domain as the one in your email address (the one on your aweber series).

For example, if your domain is example.com and the product you are linking to is ProductX, the link in your email is example.com/ProductX.

Anyone clicking that link ends up at your CB link for ProductX.

You can set up the redirects either through your domain's control panel, your cPanel or using pages with either php or javascript redirects.

You can also use the pretty link lite plugin to cloak your affiliate links...

Do you have your own domain? If so, you can setup and html or php redirect pretty easily.
