Hi all I am working on a squueze page. from you guys experience, which route is a more productive one: A... Page that offers a freebie like special report along with short copy telling benefits in bulleted fashion of the special report they are getting free so as to entice the prospect into opting in. then obviously prospect taken to confirmation/thank you page thanking them for opting in and little link at bottom (along with maybe banner) stating 'click her to continue' which if they do they get taken to main product page which in fact is what the special report presells as content. OR B... have a video squeeze page where I or actor I hire gives a 5 to 8 minutes of verbal copy i.e presells the prouct telling prospects to opt in to be shown further details of this amazing moneymaking program. And just add some call to action and scarcity offer the prospect in return for opting in now not only they will get great details of program but also get xxxxxx (i.e this could be ebook/special reports or soem other valuable freebie closely related to the main product). So guys what in your opinion is the way to go going by current trends and whats converting better i.e freebie squeeze page OR video squeeze page where u still give out freebies (to act as call to action) but essentially u presell the product. much appreciated. smak |

Personally, I like a combination of both. 1. Have a compelling headline 2. Use a video to tell a story / highlight the product 3. Offer a giveaway for signing up See the first link in my sig for an example. Cheers, Steve |

I agree. Use both. A headline designed to draw he prospect in. A video explaining the features and benefits as well as some text to reinforce what's being said in the video. Kevin |

Either will work good but both would be best. Don't forget to use a tell a friend script like viralfriendgenerator to get your new subscribers to tell others about you and get them to help you build your list, then hit them up with a one time offer so you can make a few bucks while building your list. Just an idea! like this: Traffic>Squeeze Page>Tell a Friend Script>One Time Offer>Download Page or you can just do: Traffic>Squeeze Page>Download Page If you use the first option you definetly want to include enough info in your video so they will want to tell their friends about you. Also if you would like free squeeze pages that you can import into xsite pro or use with a free editor and edit any way you like then you can get them from my sig below. Mike |

Like the others said. A punchy headline and subhead. A short video. Some powerful bullet points and an opt in box. It's all you need. |

Hi smak, You could do both, and split test. Most marketers are aware of what a big difference just few % difference in opt-in can make to net profits. Regards, James Pateman |

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT put a long video on a squeeze page. It kills conversions (I've tested it extensively). If you put a video on a squeeze page, make it no longer than 2 minutes.

A clean video squeeze page with a freebie give away always works great for me. Video is the way to go. It's a lot easier than typing, and the conversions are much better. |
