My Business Plan Idea

I have a comprehensive ebook that is being worked on...

1. Sell it

2. Follow up with other affiliate offers (physical products)

3. Offer the book as a hard copy with bonus book and custom branded product

4. Build a community around the concept/product

... yeah i know it's a little vague at the moment, but what do you think?

Sounds good if you're ready to tackle the info-product model and all it entails.

Build an affiliate program and recruit affiliates. This is almost as important as selling your product once you get your conversions up to par. The more affiliates you have the more free work you get done for you.

affiliate program will be attached... i won't be promoting the affiliate program ON the actual sales page though as i want affiliates to get their commissions as opposed to people buying through their own affiliate link

the physical product... well half of it is consumable and a great gift idea... so lot's of potential to extend the product line too... first things first though and that is the ebook

At first, you must have a attractive and high quality book.

A lot of research has gone into the ebook ... and it's a corker (being developed as i type this) ... a lot of the material i found in this niche i'm hitting to be old and weathered with nothing fresh and fun ... so should be good!

Make sure you work really hard to get the right title - aim at a solving a problem that people really have. Focus on solving a real problem (or else fulfilling a need) and everything will flow from that.

Also make sure you really stand out from everyone else in the same niche.

I actually chose a title that fits my SEO needs and also fits the 'solving a problem' needs of the consumer. There is noone proactive in the niche, so i plan to do a massive push by also creating an enthusiast driven community with wordpressMU/buddypress/bbpress.

Pushing the community would give me direct access to my target market so i can do surveys and continuos market research to develop further products... whether digital or an actual physical product line.
