If you're just starting out, keep it simple. Pick a niche, buy a domain, buy hosting, start writing articles and just build up your site slowly. eventually ad ads

Step 1: Define your goal and find a market.
Step 2: Secure a domain and build your site.
Step 3: Update your site regularly to keep it fresh.
Step 4:. Sign up for Google AdSense and promote your site on social media.
Step 5: Pay attention to your metrics and sign up as an affiliate.

I've been promoting CPA / affiliate offers for over16 years.

More specifically, I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers. This is because there is no credit card / purchase required. All a user has to do is fill out a form, so conversion rates are typically much higher than offers that require you to make a sale.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to them. This is what has overall worked best for me and they tend to have the greatest mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience). So the potential exist to generate high volume and they are fairly easy to cross promote on the back-end.

Some of the PPL verticals that I have done extremely well with are: insurance, education, loans, debt, credit, assistance, mortgage, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

The bulk of the offers that I promote pay around $20-$40 per lead, but I also promote offers that pay more and less. However, you don't want to get caught up solely on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same and possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.

Bottom line, it is far easier to get someone fill out a short form than to get them to pull out their credit card and make a purchase. So why struggle with trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want/need and get paid well doing it.

In addition to the above examples that don't fall into the make, get, save money angle. Promoting website signups (dating for example) can also be very profitable. I have done just as well with dating compared to the other verticals.

Free trials + S/H can work well. Weight loss is pretty evergreen. You really need to promote what is hot...For example, what is Dr. Oz talking about? You ideally want to promote something with a $50-$60+ (the higher the better) value and the user can get it for like $5-$9 S&H.

I promote a "very limited number" of products. I would stick with the above before trying to promote products, making straight up sales is harder. To make the same ROI or at least close, you need something that has mass appeal then it also has to be one of the following... 1. unique / not available locally. 2. something that the user can buy at a true decent discount. 3. solves a house is on fire type problem.

It's important to test offers within the same vertical. As there will be times when one offer will significantly outperform the others. When you find the best ones, it's a good idea to have access to them from more than one network. Networks will sometimes cap a number of leads you can produce or they have a fixed budget for the month for how much can be produced. So if you hit a cap or the network runs out of budget and the offer gets paused. Then you can just switch to another network and keep producing.

I drive traffic to the offers a bit differently than most. For the most part, I acquiring 3rd party email data. Which is data that the users have shown an interest in a specific vertical(niche) and have given permission to receive messages from third parties. You get the opt-in record for each user and it's 100% can-spam compliant.

The reason I do this over other forms of marketing is because I'm building assets that I then own and can market to over and over at low cost...so I control the traffic. Compared to what most marketers do, which is to pay for traffic or use some free traffic strategy. Which often either fails to return a profit unless you have a proven funnel or ends up not being worth the time it took to implement the strategy. Not being able to generate cost effective traffic is why so many fail.

Basically, I monetize the data using PPL offer because they offer the path of least resistance to generating conversions and converting the data to cash producing assets.

Obviously, there is more to it, but done right it can be extremely profitable. Everyone that I know that is in the business and knows what they are doing, for the most part, does 6-7 figures. While that may sound like a huge range, much comes down to one's abilities to scale and effectively build/manage the infrastructure needed to scale.

    Anyway, hope that helps.

Either read what DIABLO wrote or just do more research.

It will take you 2 hours max to do all the research (Google) you need on CPA network, offers and trafffic methods. After that, join a Network and just get started.

    Well, you're talking my language.

In general terms, then, this is a strong combination:

    1. Squeeze page, or
    2. A viral magazine blog.
    3. SEO your media.
    4. Infuse with virality.
    5. Syndicate media to your audience.
    6. Drive traffic from viral platforms.

That makes it sound easy. It isn't.

If you're very new to internet marketing, you could consider looking into something like this (you'll just need to research the elements):

    1. A basic viral magazine blog on Wordpress.
    2. Niche content.
    3. Monetize with relevant contextuals (links) to affiliate offers.
    4. Spread your media to audience pools.

You can find audience pools all over the place. Places like Facebook, Google-Plus, Twitter, Forums, IG, and so forth.

If you're starting out, find an in demand topic, hire a Fiverr designer and sell tshirts and posters and don't mess around with blog until you have a taste of earning money online by this is simple method which can grace your pocket with money relatively quickly - if executed sensibly.

A $15 poster can be sold for $90 on the right topic, since people frame them.

Build to a point where you succeed, keep that channel of business (selling tshirts and posters) and take up another form of Internet Marketing as a complimentary sideline.
