Default Confused With the Rights of a MRR Product- Can Anyone Kindly Clarify?

Hello,
There is a product that offered MRR rights and they are stated as follows. Now aren't the rights PLR because they allow the content to be edited and allow you to put your name on it?

[YES] Can be given away
[YES] Can be packaged with other products
[YES] Can be offered as a bonus
[YES] Can be edited completely and your name put on it
[YES] Can be used as web content
[YES] Can be broken down into smaller articles
[YES] Can be added to an e-course or autoresponder
[YES] Can be added to membership sites
[YES] Can sell Resale Rights
[YES] Can sell Master Resale Rights
[YES] Can be offered through auction sites

Kindly clarify

That is a sticky sentence. Does it need to be edited completely in order to put your name on it or can you just change the name?

If you can just change the name, then it is more along the lines of PLR.

"Edited completely" is a bit sticky as well. Editing and rewriting are not the same. I could edit something and find no fault with it. So, if I completely edit an eBook, yet not find anything that needs to be corrected, could I still put my name on it, even though I've not rewritten any part of it?

Thanks for the responses, but I think the issue is still gray as to what it means to "edited completely and your name put on it"

The seller probably just used the wrong "rights" term. It sounds like more of a PLR license. "Exclusive" and "established website" are other terms that's often not used correctly.

I think whoever put together the rights didn't realize that this is just like PLR:

[YES] Can be edited completely and your name put on it

It seems the same to me as saying:

[YES] Can Sell Private Label Rights

Editing, the process of correcting or revising text, images, or sound Editing, the process of correcting or revising text, images, or sound With MRR you have Master Resell Rights so you can do anything that you like.

Seems like a "grey" area. The license doesn't say you have the rights to sell it as a private label product, yet it doesn't say it's restricted. People tend to make more of the issue with the more expensive licenses.

This "Private Label Rights" stuff is so "nobody cares" that it's not even funny. I've seen people do all kinds of stuff with RR, MRR, PLR and PLR with certain restrictions etc...

It just goes crazy after a while.

I tend to only really mess with PLR, but edit the sales letter and graphics if I do.
