I joined WF in 2007.I tried to do one thing ,anything that
could earn me an income online as others claim they make money.
But i quit in frustration because i couldn't make anything.
I am back because i am convinced it is real.
How can i earn an $500 monthly income online?
Who can take me by the hands and teach me step by step?
I will be grateful to learn from any of the great minds on WF.

You know, this is a fascinating question when you sit down and really think
about it.

Let me ask you a question, and I mean this in all sincerity.

Have you ever bought anything online? I'd assume that since you've been
at this for some time, you've bought some how to books, maybe bought
a few things from Amazon for entertainment, maybe even bought concert
tickets online. I don't know, but most people online do online shopping.

So, if YOU'RE talking money out of YOUR pocket to purchase goods and
services, that money HAS TO be going into somebody else's pocket. True?

Okay, let's take this one step further.

Do you HONESTLY think you're the ONLY person who bought from that
individual or company?

So then doesn't it stand to reason that these people are making some
kind of regular income online, whether it's $500, $5,000 or $50,000 a
month?

See, the problem, right off the bat (and I mean this with all due respect) is
your mindset. You already don't believe that people are making a living
online. At best, you're extremely skeptical.

This puts you behind the 8 ball right from the start because you're going
to look for every excuse imaginable as to why you're not succeeding.

Starting with..."It's not REALLY possible."

I could tell you how much I make yearly but it doesn't mean a damn thing.
Anybody could say anything online.

What matters is that YOU have to change the way YOU think.

You need to get educated for starters.

You then need to sit down and work out a REAL business plan. If you
don't know how to do that...GET SOMEBODY TO HELP YOU.

Some people (not saying you) have no smarts for business and need
somebody to put them on the right track. If you go this route, make sure
the person has PROVEN credentials. Don't just take their word for it. That's
a ticket to almost certain failure.

One of our very own Warriors, Ron Douglas, just had a book published. I
think he got something like a 6 figure advance on it. And yes, this is
EASILY verifiable.

Okay...you CAN make a good living online.

But FIRST...you have to believe in yourself and that it's possible for YOU.

Get yourself a step by step video course from someone on the affiliate or cpa model and get busy. ( as they are the easiest for a newbie to conduct )

Anyway, you need to USE this forum, and look as there are hundreds of ways here to make over $500 a month explained and some in great detail.

You need to decide which method you are going to use to start generating income and move up from there.

For instance, interested in adsense as a way of monetizing? Then follow someones adsense model. Of course this may entail making too many sites or covering more niches than you wish to explore.

So find another model. Look up what monetizing with affiliate marketing, product creation, ebay, amazon, cpa, etc entails.

Pick one.

Your current request is too vague. Everyone has different methods here of making money. Some use many methods, but you need to find the one that most interests you and use it. Keep digging at it until it works.

I and I'm sure many other experienced internet marketers see this kind of question posted on this forum almost everyday.

You can't take this as a personal attack on you if you want to, but it is not intended that way.

What frustrates me is the wording of your question and others just like it.

You want people to help you but you haven't shared your "story".

What have you actually done to try and earn the income you are looking for?

What is your knowledge level regarding marketing, the internet, building websites, writing copy, finding a niche etc. etc. etc.?

Yet you are basically acting like some sort of victim and you want someone to proove to you that you can make money online, or to show you step by step and hold your hand.

What can you offer in return?

As an idea, why don't you offer to work for someone 10 hours a week, doing whatever they want you to do in terms of internet work, and in return they will help you get your projects going.

There is no easy ride or free lunch.

Everything has a price.

In the early days of the web it was a lot easier to make money in some respects. But now that opportunity still exists. There are more people online, the cost of entry is lower etc, but there is more competition.

Too many people try to make money online because they have fallen for the promise of unlimited wealth and working in your pyjamas for just 4 hours a week.

If someone was to ask you how you would make $500 a month not on the internet, what would you say? What would you do?

The internet is no magic pill and if you have been a member of the forum for a year or more and you still haven't made any money online, you really have to question your own personal issues and things that are stopping you.

As a final note, whatever it is you decide to do etc, don't overcomplicate things.

Making money is simple. Making $500 a month is really simple. Turning that into $10,000 a month or $100,000 a month is where things can get more complicated.

So keep things simple and don't get bogged down by all the complicated advice.

Incidentally, if you are trying to make money by showing others how to make money online, like many unethical people do, who haven't made money in any other way, then please disregard this post of mine as I am then NOT willing to help.

Forgive my bluntness, but I don't take prisoners anymore and if your niche is showing others how to make money when you can't make $500 then you should be shot. Geneva convention or not!

You were right to come back and try again, though. I started making money online through affiliate marketing and I would always recommend the same to anyone who is fairly new to the internet.

Be patient, though, as it might take some time to ramp up your earnings.

I think Steven hit the nail on the head. Stop letting your mind limit yourself from doing great things. I recommend writing quality keyword rich articles for starters. Once you start getting some clickbank sales, it's very therapeutic and it changes your life for the better.

The beauty of the internet is that it is limitless. There are infinite possibilities to making money online. You can either try a proven method or do your own stuff.

The important thing is to simply do.

But the problem i see with people, myself included, is that ever since we were young, we were taught in school, at home, by our friends, family, teachers, etc. etc. that we lived in a world that had scarce opportunity.

Then when we enter the infinite limitless realm of the online world, we simply can't handle the abundance of opportunity that lies in front of us.

I may be way off base here, but someone asking how to make $500 a month probably shouldn't be promoting a site to tell people how to create "financial freedom".

If you want to make money, instead of asking if making money is possible, you should probably use this forum as a resource to ask SPECIFIC questions about how to work out a method you are learning and IMPLEMENTING.

That's the most important part. Do anything. The reality is, it all works, to varying degrees. And $500 is just a hop skip and jump from where you are.

When I first got started, I made more than that marketing clickbank stuff on Craigslist... (Big time no no now) but once you've started making an amount that small, it's like opening the floodgates. Sky's the limit.

Here's an easy way for people like OP to start making money regularly,
be it $300, $500 or $1000 per month ( or more).

In order to put this into action you must be ready to spend some money,
though, but if you do that you are much more likely to start making
$500/mo than if you follow the ' make money without money' BS.

1. Purchase resell rights to quality product, including website and good sales letter.
Spend about $500 - $1000 on resell rights, it must be product that you can easily sell for $67

2. Hire someone on this forum to customize your website and sales letter
( someone who is already making tons of money and know the ins and outs)

3. Hire another professional to create 10-15 pages report related to your product
that you can give away in exchange for email address on your site, and 7-10 follow up emails. Purchase super ecover graphics for the report.

4. If you can't do that yourself, pay someone to set up everything for you: autoreponder, payment processor, etc.

5. Pay someone to create affiliate material for your product and set up affiliate page

6. Put your product on clickbank and give 60% - 70% comission.

7. Go to all affiliate forums and JV sites and collect affiliates by all means.
Hire good affiliate broker/manager if necessary.

8. After 3-4 months, all your expenses will be earned back and you will start profiting. You will also have built a list of buyers and prospects and affiliates. When you have made a few thousands of dollars, purchase another product (RR).

Expand gradually.
Start promoting affiliate products to your list but only good stuff.
Build a list. Set up one site where you will just give away reports
and ebooks in exchange for emails. Grow your list. Make more money.

$500/month

If you can write a quality 400 word article (research & write) in an hour and you charge $12/article ($0.03/word) you can make $500 by writing 42 articles.

If you work 8 hours a day like the typical 9 to 5 employee, and you work about 20 days a month, that's 160 hours. And therefor, 160 articles.

Even if you just work 3 hours a day (before and/or after work), that's 60 articles a month (3 articles/day for 20 days). And you can save the weekends for family time and working on your own online business. Or you can just take that $720/month (60 articles x $12) and call it good. And have weekends solely for family time, hobbies, etc. You don't have to build a business if that's not for you.

If you REALLY want to make that $500/month, sacrifice 3 hours of watching T.V., checking emails, sitting on your butt, etc. each day.

Finally, I'd like to share this...

Nothing can become a reality for you if your mind doesn't first accept it as a possibility. So I'd suggest working on your changing your mindset. In the meantime, you can trick your mind by taking action. Experience based results are impossible for your mind to reject.

Before you jump in starting to go for all these ways to make money, I suggest you educate yourself a little bit and after that you can decide what you want to try out first and how you want to go about it. I also suggest you start with affiliate marketing, it tends to be the easiest to get into and you can easily make more than $500/month.

its definately possilble ! the easieet method to generate cash quickly i know of is site flipping ! If you can get some mini-sites created you can ell them on flippa and ebay and earn a good $10-$50 for a very basic site with no history ! Then, just scale it up to your desired monthly amount and boom! there you have it!

Find what is selling, do a little keyword research, make your site based on buying keywords and a little link building and that is a good start

I started with the Niche Marketing On Crack method. I still think it is one of the best methods out there

I made $200 my first month and I didn't know what the heck I was doing...I was a mortgage broker, not an internet marketer

It is the best one I have found for newbees. You have to make a decision to go with one form of money making activity and stick to it. Be an expert in it. The system in the link below gives you the building blocks that I find is missing in many others.

Hmm, break it down into "sales" and "visitors"...

If you pick a high converting product (such as the Forex Robots) that pay around $100 per sale, you only need to sell 5 of them.

And they convert in about 1/1100 (1%), so you would need 500 visitors per month to make $500... Easy? Yeah... Very...

Say 1 article drives on average 33 clicks, then you would need 15 articles per month. That's not even 1 per day... so if you do 10 per day for 30 days, you can do the math

I myself have been blogging for a couple of months. Sure I will be honest I was trying to make money at first by throwing up affiliate links on my site and amazon items. Then I stepped back a little and did more research. I mean really who is going to buy from me and why would they really buy stuff from me. Well I focused myself on building my content on my blog and getting visitors. Sure I still have some affiliate links, but my focus right now is building up some great content and communicating with other bloggers and learning. There is so much to learn out there and so much more that I need to learn. Sure I want to make money and I believe it will come in time. One of the best quotes I've seen in a while.

The trick with this entrepreneurship thing is to have faith in
what your doing before you see results - because when you
lose faith in what your doing, you will NOT get the results you
want.

Because when you lose faith, you don't believe, and when you
don't believe, you don't take action - you give up and quit.

It take's courage to tackle something out of the blue you've
never tried before not knowing how it'll work out for YOU.

We all know how it worked out for the other guy, he sold you
on the dream...heck, I sold you on the dream.

But will you actually follow through with a plan and stick with
it when your not making in money immediatly?

That's your biggest challenge. Is believing you can do what you
don't know (from your own experinece) will work.
