Wordpress Translation Plugin

I'm looking for a WP plugin that translates absolutely everything. Including permalinks, meta tags, title tags, h tags, internal links and anchor texts.

As far as I know Global Translator is the best one because it can translate in basically all languages, but it can't pull full translation off.

Is there such thing? Is it even possible to create?

    All the machine translations, including global translator, are usually crappy...

    The translations made by machines can give the visitor a rough idea what the blog is about but they will NEVER provide a "consumable" good translation.

    There used to be plugins for multilingual blogging - they translate the user interface, menus and other WP stuff, however, you the blogger have to create the content in different languages.

    What is it exactly that you want to achieve?

      I just want it for search engine fodder in all the other languages, it doesn't have to be a perfect translation, as long as absolutely everything is translated.

      The translation engine machines do a good enough job for me, I just need every single thing to be translated within each language folder.

    I am a little bit confused about your "folder" idea...

    Let me remind you that in the case of translator plugins (like global translator), usually, there is no additional folder created. All those are just "virtual" folders - basically, a new permalink to the same post, more exactly, its translated version.
    Original post: example.com/my-smart-post
    Translated: example.com/es/my-smart-post

    Furthermore, all the similar plugins translate ONLY the surface of your blog, i.e. what is displayed on that certain page. In other words, they translate only the visible frontend.

    What is it that doesn't get translated for you?

      I'm well aware of the virtual folders.

      They don't translate permalinks, anchor text, tags, titles and all that. And I need that to be translated as well.

      I want everything to be translated, regardless of how good the translation is.

      ie:

      Original post: example.com/my-smart-post
      Translated: example.com/es/mi-intelegente-publicacion

    Unless you have a post in Spanish with the title "Mi intelegente publicacion" - it's not likely that will ever happen with this type of plugins.

    Actually, last time I checked, the global translator did translate (post) titles and anchor text. It doesn't translate the tags (e.g. example.com/es/tag-in-english/) but clicking on the link it will display the posts tagged with it - in Spanish.

    I am afraid what you are dreaming of... it is, probably, technically impossible. Believe me: I was dealing with translation and localization issues way back, when most IMers didn't even hear about WordPress.

      Anyway, Warriors, if anyone can come up with a solution to this it would become quite a powerful product, one which I would promote myself.

      The SEO potential to this would be amazing. We're talking your page factor multiplied by the number of languages available at the Google translation engines.

      I think it's roughly 36. If you have a 1,000 page website, it would become 36,000 pages of unique content. Yeah...

      It wouldn't work very well otherwise though.
