A little help with Cutline please...

Hope this is an easy fix...

The main menu bar in the default install of cutline is black and has Home, Archives, About, and RSS

How do I make that smaller and change the Archives and the About?

I'd like the black bar to be shorter and just get rid of the "archives" and the "about"

you can post here or PM me and I can send you the link

Appreciate it Warriors!

When I look at their demo the top (horizontal) menu is white bg and black fonts...

"Smaller" meaning reducing the size horizontally or vertically?

Delete the Pages with the titles About and Archives. (or rename them)

To edit which pages display in the header navigation, edit the header.php file. Look for the line: <ul id="nav"> and delete whichever pages you do not want to show in the navigation. For example, this is what you would delete if you did not want the link to the About page:
    <li><a <?php if (is_page('about')) echo('class="current" '); ?>href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>/about/">about</a></li>

Do you want to make the line under the Home and About links shorter? (I think that is what you mean.) To change the length of the line, you would have to edit the graphic (or create a new graphic). Graphics are in the subdirectory /wp-content/themes/cutline(will have theme version info here)/images.

The heavy black line (right under the nav links) is hr_title_sep.gif.

I did not change the graphic line, but I did change the nav menu. You can see what it looks like at http://CathyStucker.com/.

    Hope this is helpful.
