This is probably crystal clear to most marketers, but I just wanted to bring up the subject because it's profitable.
Paying attention to what people do and copying their models is often more effective than what's inside their products. If a marketer truly spills the beans in their products about what makes them the most money, then it's a great product though. Unfortunately marketers who churn out maj launch after maj launch can't possibly be telling you their most profitable strategy or top 5 most profitable strategies every time. For these major launch marketers, the money seems to really be in JVs. They all promote for eachother over and over. That might make some people sick, but it's actually a really profitable strategy. I'm not saying it's a bad way to be. I'm just saying this is what's making piles of cash for marketers. These marketers are in high dollar masterminds together where they're pretty much obligated to promo for each other launch after launch. You have to be making a certain amount of money each year to get in these circles. Some promotion circles are created freely amongst 5 or 10 marketers on the same level. The biggest list builders, call center number sucking, frontend selling, addon product selling, subscription creating, and backend money makers are likely due to the enormous amount of traffic they send eachother. Very few top marketers are 100% self-sufficient, though there are a few. They teach you to be self-sufficient in their products, when really their biggest money probably comes from JVs. Some marketers can send 10,000 clicks in an email. Think about what that would cost with AdWords. Though, there are some marketers out there who build their business with the tune of spending thousands of bucks per day on AdWords and not doing JVs. But very few high rollers are actually self sufficient like this. It's more educational to pay attention to what these people are doing and analyzing their processes, then basically ethically swiping what they're doing and structuring your online business the same way... the way that makes the most money. ...I'm just sayin. |

Fantastic post Jason and I totally agree. I buy every major launch, with one purpose in mind...
To camtasia their process and analyze the heck out of it. Most of the time I really do not care about the product. Umm.. do you want to JV? :-) Shannon |

Brilliant Post Jason, even by subscribing to the Product Launch email list, so much can be learnt about that marketer.
Just about any major product launch has JV's and these are a big factor in the amount of traffic that is sent to the Product Launch. Most systems fall into line with the basis of Front End and Back End sales. The good old faithful upsells and OTO's. But so many of the major launches are getting very spammy with sometimes 10 copys of the exact same email hitting my inbox on a daily basis. Yes I know its my fault for being on their lists but it does send brilliant material to analyse and see what they are exactly doing to get traffic and customers. James |

Well said Jason. Analyzing product launches is an education by itself. Learn something new every day from there. =)

And to go through marketing systems in general with Camtasia... Say you're looking at keyword software and you can see a marketer is spending $3k per day on AdWords. You can camtasia it all as you go through his setup and see how he's profiting on the frontend and backend to be able to spend that kind of money daily. You could see what type of target audience he's marketing too, what the offers are like, how the followup sequence goes, and whether it's a broad market or not... and pretty much ethically swipe it. With the goal of finding out how this marketer can afford to spend that kind of money on advertising and borrow from the systems ethically. Same goes for hot CPA offers. You film the process of going through the systems and seeing how the marketer can afford to shell out an enormous amount of cash daily to affiliates. Then go tweak your own systems with the knowledge you gained. | |

Can you elaborate on this? I have been reading this statement for a few minutes, but I cant see why you are screen capturing stuff. Is it so you can create your own version and sell it as an info product?
